"Let's get ******** up and die. I'm speaking figurativly of course, like the last time that I commited suicide, social suicide." ----The coolest words ever. Well yea, I think we all like Motion City here. I think they have one of the coolest sounds of our time right a long with Hot Hot Heat and the Scissor Sisters. They have an original sound so it's not like they are with other "emo" bands. I mean they aren't really considered emo but their lyrics are a lot like other bands we might put in that genre exept for better. It's really cool in my eyes how they throw in keyboard and everything like that so it all isn't heavy guitar and bass. Every once in a while you will need that sound. It's not fun listening to all this hardcore stuff all the time. I think they sound a bit like Semisonic back in the 90s. That's awesome cause I love them.
Discuss: MOTION CITY SOUND TRACK. WOOT.

I’m not the biggest fan of Motion City but I do have to say that there songs do have this wired affect on me, like when my friends dad died, on the way to the funeral we had "Everything is alright" blaring in the car. I have to say, that was the most fun I’ve ever had on a way to a funeral.

I'm really looking forward to seeing them on Warped this summer, I've adored them since I first heard "Throwdown" on a Doghouse sampler disc. I hope they play a fairly shady stage, though, I'm not in the mood to fry.
