I don't actually have an idea at the moment but more of a question such as.
Other than asking of whom we would like to invite what other advertisement methods, or something of the sort, will we actually use to recruite more members.

As soon as I get around to making a thread for advertising in the Gaia Guild forum thing. lol

I think you should be extremely careful as to who you are inviting into the guild. I mean, if you start to invite too many people into the guild, or let too many people in when they ask, then the guild will start to become too large. At least, I've always thought that the larger a group becomes, than the less its members become known amongst each other, and thus the less they can interract, recognize, and have more connected, friendly conversations.

I disagree, the larger the Guild is the more chance of a "Regular" status being created. It sets up for Elitism, but the good Kind. The newer Members strive to be like those who are at the top. ^^

I don't feel the threat is in size. Personally I doubt that this guild or any guild of this style has the potential to grow to such a size that it would create that sort of problem. I believe that what must be guarded against more than size is quality and to make sure it never wanes.

I suppose as long as we can ensure that the quality of the guild is maintained, its size may not matter as much as I implied. It's just something I figured I ought to mention.

This is an idea I have actually put some thought into.
And rather than continously adding onto The Ressurections chaotic inbox. I've decided to just put this idea out there and I'd preferably like to hear from the other members.
What I have thought about is an idea such as a "Guild Store" Which I believe can be benificial to this guild in regards to helping out with the guilds finances for new forums. It could possibly help accomidate with our members item quests. And other such needs because it is fairly difficult to get those oh so desired items for our Dream Avi's
Although I'll be truthful if it does happen there might be a possiblity of item donations to the store rather than gold donations which would help as an alternate method to gain gold.
Still even if this does happen it will depend on how succesful the store would be.
If anyone is interested the idea I would like to discuss further so I can actually clarify certain thoughts, ideas, and methods towards this.
It can also help raise the Participation rate within guild if use a certain amount of posts or something of that nature and give discounts or an item to that individual. Although the free item is risky especially if the guild grows to a certain extent.

Haha rofl I was half alseep and still feeling some of the affects when of that energy drink when I put this idea out there sweatdrop Anyways let's see what did I leave out... Oh get rid of unwanted items. Uh OH we would have to find someone to run the store who is trust worthy etc etc. And who has experience with the gaia marketplace rofl Oh man I just wanna hear some opinions on this

Actually at this point in time it would be actually be rather helpful to start on a guild store. It's not actually pointless. See it would hep create a good amount of revenue for the guild although it isnt really needed the only real thing is that it'll help some of our item quests etc. And if we can actually get it established with someone who knows the gaian exchange then it could be dead useful plus we can set up a trade system for people who wish to trade certain items for others. blaugh Yeah I actually thought about it

confused Man I've been off for a bit and now this place looks kinda like a ghost town. How unfortunate. Well then I wonder how we can raise the guild participation.
