+* The Lake *+
Towards the northern-center of the forest lies a vast blue lake, filled with fish, a family of beavers, and sometimes even Ayen. A welcoming and relaxing place, it was not always, as this is where the Elemental Eoghan of Ice was once sealed away. Since then it has become a tranquil setting and a wonderful destination for a day trip. Peppered around the lake's edge are birch trees, old fallen trees, and plenty of sweet blueberry bushes.
Near the center of the lake sits a small island, with a path of small stepping-stones leading from it's shore to the forest. Careful- slippery when wet! It is not an exaggeration to call the island "small". It can hold maybe 6 adult Eoghan at the most without being overcrowded. On the island sits one lone, tall maple tree. Its old roots run deep into the Earth; how many things it must have seen through its years.
What could that sound be...? The sound of rushing water...
Deep beneath the lake's surface, something amazing exists. A swirling portal of light rests in a crevace that, when crossed through, leads from the lake to the Ayen's homeworld, Lucarin.

Through this portal it is possible for Ayen to come from Lucarin to the lake; adult Eoghan (who are up to it) to swim through it to Lucarin, and vice-versa. Baby and child Eoghan should never make this trip without an adult Eoghan or adult Ayen with them, and a messenger should never attempt it alone.
The lake and it's extending rivers are a favorite place of Water Stamped Eoghan.
