Meeting the western borders of the forest are the grasslands; a huge spacious plain that stretches for miles. It's terrain ranges from tall grass and flowers, to worn, open earth.
A deep, calm river runs through the center of the grasslands, that connects the ocean directly to the lake. It serves as a good indicator of position when traveling by foot.
Travel west, south, or south-west through the grasslands and you'll find yourself at the beach. Travel north and you'll find yourself either at a mountainous range or vast desert.
