i dont really like emo but here are emo bands...
AFI, Alexisonfire, Brand New, Bright Eyes, Coheed and Cambria, Death Cab for Cutie, Fall Out Boy, From First to Last, Funeral for a Friend, Hawthorne Heights, My Chemical Romance, Panic! at the Disco, Senses Fail, Something Corporate, The Starting Line, Story of the Year, Taking Back Sunday, Thursday, The Used. all american rejects. underoath

Sure, they claim to be, but they're all too mainstream now. They're pop-rock.

Daniel Boudreau Suiiciide [SlutxFace] i dont really like emo music to much. :/ i agree the only emo i can somewhat withstand is a bit of 30seconds to mars, one song by the used and afi NOT EMO. I just got done saying that.

I just got done saying that. i'm pretty sure it is...how popular the band is doesnt make the difference of it being one genre to the other...unless its indie
