This is where you post about what show you're currently in, and discuss said shows (or post a new thread and discuss it there). I'm currently in a show called Register Here, and I play Mrs. Moss. It's actually really funny. It's a murder mystery of sorts. http://www.histage.com/searchdetails.asp?strPlayno=1011Fairly decent for an Eldridge play.

In that case... A Midsummer Night's Dream, playing the First Fairy. (without a name...) Almost the entire show is double cast, except for about 5 roles, so each night of the show is going to be incredibly different.
I'm EXCITED!!!
edit: I JUST now realized that the show opens in less than 10 days... EEEAAAGHHH!!!!!! (When will the silly lovers get off book?)

My college is doing a Shakespeare play next year (probably Shrew), so I might actually try out. I don't know, though. I'm a bit stage shy.

Moriwa edit: I JUST now realized that the show opens in less than 10 days... EEEAAAGHHH!!!!!! (When will the silly lovers get off book?) xd Ours didn't get off book until the night of the production. It went ok, though. All the faeries knew their lines (I picked up most of Peasblossom, because I was the quickest study, after the original person who had the role left), so it really wasn't my problem.

I'm currently directing a student writen play for this years SEARs festival, I played Dori Psyches for our written christmas production of "So you think you can be Santa" My character was the crazy santa in the competition. lol.
I'm hoping to play Granny or Emaline in the Production Course's play of Beverly Hillbillies! lol.
I've only done one shakespeare role, and that's was Lady Mmmbeth, in a spoof. Not much but it was still a lot of fun.

I’m currently Julia in Two Gentlemen of Verona. The production is not until May though, which is good because no one has their lines memorized yet. redface

My school is currently doing the musical version of Oliver, and whilst I'm not in it, I am doing the costumes, which let me tell you is a good thing since for the past few years every play they have done has had to be changed to be set in the 1930s because that is the only time they had costumes for.

I usually act, but this time around I'll be joining the costume crew for a play called 'The Rez Sisters'.
The last scripted show I did was 'The Importance Of Being Earnest' (my favourite play ever, even more than Shakespeare), where I got cast as Lady Bracknell (Role of a lifetime! Still squee over it), and after that we did a one-night improv show for charity. After 'Rez Sisters' we'll probably do improv again.
But in my acting (not production) class, I'll be doing a little Shakespeare, anyway-- our first monologue is from the Scottish play. And though it's not strictly Shakespeare, when we do scenes I'd like a friend of mine to do 'Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead' with me.

I was just in "Sherlock Holmes." I played Alice who was being held hostage by two criminals because I had love letters a prince sent to my sister who was murdered. These letters could cause alot of embarrassment so the criminals were going to sell them to the insurance company for alot of money.
