people, just a correction: it's poseur, not poser. poser means porn star.
anyway, i don't like her either. she claimed that she played the guitar since she was young but it's only in her 2nd album that she was actually playing it. and she indirectly flaunts her "talents" (which she doesn't have). and she has this too-cool-for-school attitude that pisses me off.

Eh, I wouldn't call her a poser or anything, because she admitted she wasn't punk, you ignorant people. stare Anyways, I personally don't like her music, but she does have a good voice. I won't disagree with that.

I like Avril I think her music is SO cool and I don't care what she does to herself but all I care is that her music is awesom!

Well I like her, i dont care what she looks like i didnt buy her cd to look at her. i bought it so i could listen to her. For me i listen to all sorts of music and its either the beat of the drums or the soundo f the guitar and the emotion or meaning of the song that i actualy listen to. sometimes people dont understand that. Altho how they look is great and al its the music you should be paying for altho music producers try and sell the image its the music thats the foundation and even like other bands i have heard i didnt like there maybe two or even ONE song i like it dosent mean that i hate that group i just like a song and the rest i am not at the best of odds with. the singers sometimes write the lyrics and otehr people sometimes do but people do write whats in thier hearts at the time. then after they become good they try to keep with it and thats where they lose it or just bearly hang on....
