So far, I only have one good drawing. Unless you want to see avi art I've done. xP And, yes, I will do free avi art if you ask me. Anyway. This picture's very, um.... depressing, I guess. It's from an Evanescence song, "Tourniquet." [click]
New drawings: [1] [2]
Newest drawing: [1]
11/14/07: [1] Except for the hand being less than perfect, I'm rather proud of this one. I spent way too long on the lettering, though. [2] I messed up on the inking a little bit, but I'm proud of this, over all. [3] My fursona, Azriel Wolfenheart. I think I did a damn good job of coloring it until I got to the wings and got lazy. I'll fix that at some point, I swear.

I was using my own left hand and knife as a model, shhh. <.< I'm usually pretty bad at it unless I have some kinda model to look at. ^.^; But thanks.

You do realize that pretty much everyone uses a model of some sort and animators keep a mirror near by to help themselves figure out expressions and the like. I have several pose books and thousands of photo referance on the computer. There is nothing to be ashamed of by using referance. Just thought you would like to know... and I'm horrid at hands too. I hate them and try to avoid them with a passion. jaa ne Kat

I generally try to avoid hands, too. The arm with the words carved into it in the picture was going to have a hand attached to it, buuut... I couldn't get it just right. ^.^;;

New pictures up. I drew them the other night, when I was in an odd mood. I don't like the first one very much, but I'm actually quite fond of the second one.

Hey, I haven't seen you since we friended that one day! What Kat said is right, though--there's absolutely nothing wrong with drawing with reference. Using reference is the best way to improve, because you become more and more familiar with the way things look and are formed, which will lead to you being better able to draw them when there is no reference available. Keep up the good work!
