Have you read any of the books?
Which ones?
Which were your favorites?
Which were your least favorite?
Do you like any author better than the rest?
Should Magic stay in the cards?

Discuss anything related to the books here.

There isn't a Coldsnap series. Since Coldsnap was part of the Ice Age block, the "Coldsnap" books are actually the Ice Age ones. Which I personaly liked the best. I didn't like the Ravnica ones as much...

Haven't read the novels yet, only the basic rules and Comprehensive Rules.

magic should stay in cards and books only. Movies and a TV series would not work as it's a multiverse. Which one of the many in the multiverse would possibly be chosen? You'll get angry fans that their favourite plane wasn't chosen.

though I would love to see the large card boxes with MTG art and logos again.

I suppose it would depend how they did the show. I mean, they could do the show like Yu-gi-oh (which would suck), or they could do it like the books. If they did it like the books, then the series would dictate which plane they were on.

not necessarily, season 1, the first block, season 2, the next block, season 3, the block after, etc.

That's what I meant by "like the books".

I've read a bunch of the books. I've read the Brothers War (my personal Favorite, and if any book should be made into a movie, I think if done right it should be this) the Gathering Dark, the Eternal Ice, the Thran, Invasion, Planeshift, Apocalypse, Onslaught, Legions, Scourge (I'm trying to buy Odysse-Judgement), Moons of Mirrodin, Darksteel Eye, Fifth Dawn, Outlaw, Heretic, Guardian. Ravnica, Guildpact, Dissension, and Time Spiral.....

Although he seems to make a couple of typos every now and then, I liked Jeff Grubb's writing style, definitely better than Robert King (although I kinda enjoyed Onslaught)... they should have only done one auther for the Mirrodin books, the inconsistancies of character behaviors annoyed me (particularly how Slobad got messed up from Moons to Eye)

Grubb was one of my favorite authors. You'd think the editors would catch the typos though, lol.

Yeah, well Wizards was in it's early days of Novels, their editers were probably primarily card Editers.... Oh! Today I bought Planeswalker and got my Fat Pack, so I also have Planer Chaos.

I think the earlier books were better. For some reason, they just appealed to me more. I've probably already said this, but I'm saying it again.))
