I finally got a copy of Rules of the Rose and it is very pretty and there is some lesbian subtexted in the opening of the game. This game has been banned in several countries for being rather demented and twistedly cruel. It is about a girl who's parents die and she ends up at a strange orphanage where the other girls play tricks on her and make her do unusual things. I like horror games with twists and it takes place in 1930 so it is even better, I love Victorian and earily Elizibethian tales.
Anyways, I'll tell you more about the game later.

I read on the internet that the gameplay is not so good but the atmosphere of the game makes up for that. Oh and in the article, they wrote that there's not really blood or zombies or other stuff like in usual horror games, it's only the dark and "stressful" (don't know what word to use, sry) atmosphere that makes all the play on the player's mind. I don't know if I made sense XD

I don't know if I made sense XD yeah it is more of a psychological story that plays on your mind. I like that kind of thing seeing as I write that kind of stuff. I'm not really looking for blood and zombies. I just like dark and creepy games. I'm finding mixed reviews about that game. I'm thinking some people were expecting something different when they entered the game and were disappointed that they ended up in a twisted psychological mess instead of scary blood and gore. Anyways, I'll try it later today and I'll tell youwhat I think. jaa ne Kat

I finished the game the other night and anyone who says the game has no lesbianism is full of it. My god how can people be so closeminded on this issue. I know they are little girls, but no matter what the age the person is. *grumbles*
Anyways, it is a great game. Has some flaws here and there but is a wonderful, but sad, story. I think everyone should try it out. I'm playing it a second time just to find all the hidden stuff and see if there is more story somewhere in the corners. *grins*

sandr17 I suppose I'll understand after I played the game XD I already read the instructions book though, I just think I won't play at all today, might go take a nap in some minutes XD (last time I gave plasma, I slept the whole afternoon XD) It all depend on if the French version is the same as the English one. I know the scene I was quoting was rather creepy. Now that sentence and "Hats off to you." hold a chilling effect on me. If you need any help you know where to find us.
