Welcome to the artists' paradise, the Crystal Atelier! To give an explanation to all newcomers as to how the guild works, I have created a short guide for those members. I urge all newcomers to read this, so that they have no problems with the guild staff.

1. Overview
~~~~~
The Crystal Atelier has risen as a result of the call of true artists wishing to have their work properly reviewed, which can be quite difficult throughout the rest of Gaia. We hope to gather all of these artists and their work, so that we may all appreciate the accomplishments and faults of each other.
The Atelier is far beyond that of a guild for critics, though. We welcome all who enjoy the arts. You could submit your work for others to view, discuss ideas, work on collaborative projects, role-play, or simply talk with other artists about anything you may be interested in.
The Crystal Atelier is a place that any artist can call a home. Writers, poets, painters, graphic artists, etc. – All are welcomed and encouraged to join their fellow artists.
2. Forum Guide
~~~~~
Main Forum You may discuss anything here, as long as it is appropriate as defined by the ToS and the Laws of the Atelier. We will also post updates and announcements here.
General Discussion
This is a staff only forum, dedicated to our own discussions about the guild.
Drawing, Painting, etc.
Once more, just as it sounds. Things such as drawings, paintings, graphic art, or anything of the sort is meant for this forum. So it is here that you may discuss these things or post your own work for others to see.
Literature
And once again, it is just as it sounds. All literary discussions and personal work such as poetry, short stories, novellas, or even novels would go here.
Roleplaying & Collaborative Works
And the trend continues - it is just as it sounds. The Crystal Atelier has risen from the ashes of the Roleplaying Citadel, and we like to stick to our roots so as not to drive away all of our old members. Here is a place for all roleplaying. It can also be used for anything collaborative.

3. Expectations of Members
~~~~~
We expect members to follow a code of conduct. This code is a list of rules known as the Laws of the Atelier.
Laws of the Atelier
Every guild must have its rules, though ours are quite simple.
1. Critiques must be written with respect. Criticism is to be constructive, not abusive.
2. All work belongs to its creator. Plagiarism is prohibited, and if you are caught, you will be immediately banned from the Atelier. Give credit where credit is due.
3. While friendly discussion is encouraged, we hope to keep the general discussion forum in the guild above chatterbox-level intelligence.
4. Thread creators may have rules of their own, and to encourage friendly relations between members, we would like you to respect their rules as long as they don’t contradict those of The Crystal Atelier or Gaia Online.
5. Lack of activity is frowned upon. We understand that sometimes circumstances can prevent activity, though we would appreciate it if you gave fair warning before suddenly vanishing.
6. Obviously, we are not exempt from the Gaia ToS. Follow it.
