Anyone else seen this series or read the manga. I was not sure if there was much lesbianism in it until later on. I really do think that Nobue is a lesbian and that Matsuri and Ann would make a cute couple. No I do not think of them in the sexual manner, but seeing as I was kissing girls at age 9 I could see them as the cutsy little girls holding hands and the like in the inocent manner.
Anyways, I love the series and wish there was more. I have two volumes of the manga and wish the last 3 would be released quickly.
Well what about everyone else?

Without a doubt, I think. 3nodding
I've only watched the first three episodes or so, but it's a really good show. I doubt it'd ever get -too- serious, though, if it happened. confused

I watched the anime and liked it a lot. I'm very much into these 'slice of life' or whatever they are called, without apocalyptic proportions, just cute characters smile
I didn't see any hints of anything lesbian though.. are there some in the manga?

Very much so. It is alot more obvious in the manga then the anime. What do you mean no hints? The older sister was all over Ann from the very beginning and then there is Miyu's jealousy over Ann's attention from the older sister and so on and so forth. Even my wife, who does not usually agree to some of the lesbianism in series, agreed to that one.
Take a look at the manga and you'll see what I mean.

Well, I guess they cleaned up the anime so all hints can be interpreted as something innocent biggrin
I haven't read the manga so I just interpreted the stuff as "dirty old lady" factor and children's desire for attention..

If you are talking about the older sister being the "dirty old lady" you should know that the anime changed her age from 16 to 21 because of her habit for smoking and drinking. That means she is actually much younger then the anime made her out to be. This is why I'm more willing to support the idea of her and the other girls. Then there is the fact that in the manga she is very aware of the fact that Miyu has a crush on her, but would never do anything to hurt her. She is actually very sweet and kind. It is interesting the way she treats the girl, she may have her perverted moment, Jumping Ann when she first met the girl and tackling her to the ground, but other then that she doesn't actually do anything sexual with the girls. It is more the cute crush types of things that the story deals with.
I found the story rather cute and innocent. i really hope they get the next book released soon because I want to catch up to Japan, who is on the 5th volume now.
Well jaa ne
