Has anyone ever heard of it? If not, it's a anime convention made by fans, for fans. I was just wondering if anyone had ever been to one. I have a few questions on what you do there and stuff. The 2007 one is in May, and I'm making plans now. Anyone heard of it?

I went to '05 and I went to '06 cosplaying Kin. I'm going this year as Rhode Camelot from D.Gray-man. ^ ^
So... State your questions.

Okay...
They sell things, right? About how many stands/shop things are there, and about how many different animes do they sell merchandise for?
Are there any contests? Like cosplay, skits, etc.
About how crowded would you say it is?
How much time should you spend there to accomplish everything?
Is there an entrance fee?
Sorry if I'm overloading you.

San Jose, California.
I really don't have any definite plans regarding Fanime. I didn't go last year or the year before due to apathy. I might plan on going this year, however.

Damn, that sucks for me... The only one that's really close enough for me to go to is AnimeNEXT- and while it was nice, and close, gets kinda boring only having 1 con. to look forward to. You guys over there in California are soo lucky!! I was hoping Fanime was in like PA or NY or something... crying

Living in a mountain town sucks. O:
I can't get to Fanime. People have said it's really fun.
I guess I'll just have to live with NDK <3

I didn't even know it was in California until I looked it up. Yeah, I guess I am lucky. In fact, I used to live in San Jose. But New York gets some big conventions and I heard they had some big anime shops. Not fair.
