Ok, so, my friend is a guy (yes, I am asking for help for a guy...). He needs help, and isn't sure where to turn, so I told him I'd ask everyone I knew for advice, and hope they could help...What his problem is, is lately he has been having these strange moments where he feels like he has become a girl. He isn't sure what to do, or if there is anything he can do...he says sometimes he'll just be sitting there, and he'll feel like his hair suddenly grew longer and is shoulder-or-longer length. Sometimes he feels other things happen, like maybe his body changes, or such things as that.

I have no idea what to tell him...so I figured I'd come here for advice...he believes that he was born a guy because he was supposed to. He doesn't believe in being born the wrong gender...Anyone got any ideas? Is it possible it could be something in his head that is making him like this? He does have a story to his birth that makes him feel like he wasn't born correctly...

well...the feelings have been recently, but he's felt like a girl for a while now...Here's the story (it's a copy and paste from another place he asked for help in...so it's his words, not mine...):

Well, I'm still not sure if I was meant to be born the way I am now... I have been told by my parents that, after 5-6 years after having my brother, they decided they wanted to have another kid. Well, they began to pray (my family is Christian!) that I would be born. Not only did they pray that they would have another kid, but they prayed I would be a boy. Well, God came to them and asked them if they were sure they wanted another boy. They said yes.

God said, if they really wanted another boy, they would have one, but it would delay their ministry. Mom, not knowing what their "ministry" was going to be at the time, or even really caring, just said she wanted another boy, and she didn't care. So, I was born to them... To a point, I sometimes wonder if I should be 1) younger (because mom wanted me right then) or 2) I should be a girl (because she prayed specifically for a boy). In truth...I've always had my thoughts about that...and the older I get, the more female habits I obtain, and the less male habits I have.

Over the years, I developed all sorts of female habits that Mom hates simply because "Women do it, not men." So, it's as if I was born to be one way, but mom's prayer changed how I was supposed to be, and thus, I am a guy that acts very female. I would LOVE to change myself so I could have male habits and a more male personality...but the thing is, I can't...my male habits seem harder to make then my girl habits, and my girl habits seem harder to break then my guy habits...

So...let this be a lesson. If you pray your kids into existence with (or without) a specific gender...don't tell them about it, especially if they develop habits from the other gender (such as a guy playing with his hair, etc.). Trust me, it scares the living hell out of them, and they will begin to wonder if they are what they were meant to be.

-nods- yeah...I think he has...he's asked me what being bisexual was like (being that he thinks he might be) so I told him...I, personally, haven't had any female experiences...but I have had experiences with men so...he, unfortunately, hasn't had either... -sighs- I feel bad for him...he thinks he might be a girl, he thinks he might like guys...his mind is just all sorts of crazy now...worst thing is...usually I could help him...but I can't...
