It was nightfall in the Upper Side, a relativly calm night for a weekday. The wind blew lightly, the stars dimmed by the city lights. The sound of a hoverbike filled the air as it passed the streets, it finally stopping on a cliff overlooking part of the upper side.
Nightshade carefully turned off her bike,placing her helmet into the seat as she stood up. her hair was down, let loose to softly move in the wind. Her golden eyes shimmering as she gazed the skyline. She wore her trademark outfit((to see check out my profile on her in archives)); her trademark symbol glowing lightly on her shoulder.
A small seductive and sarcastic smirk played on her face as she looked at the buildings, relativly talking to herself " So who will be the first victim of the night tonight boys...."

The sun was setting and the day was turning into night as Ryder entered Upper Side. He had been wandering for quite some time now, lost in thought. He took a deep breath and looked around at nothing in particular.

Nightshade took in the air then let out a small sigh, lifting her right hand,it slightly glowed red as she called her shado beings. Four shadow beings jumped out from her own dwindling shadow, obediantly knealing to her.
She looked to the skyline as she spoke to them," Seperate ways and survey the land, then report back to me."
She spated a man on the streets, randomly walking, she kept an eye on him, just watching for a few moments before she would have to get to work.

After Ryder's quick stop, he continued to walk on and take in the sights. The Upper Side's buildings were beginning to light up as evening approached.

She smirked lightly," Oh, my jewls can wait...I haven't some type of fun i na while."
She smirked evilly, her hair falling lightly into her face as her golden eyes sparkled with antiicipation. Transporting herself a few meters away from Ryder,she appeared into the allyway. Walking out calmly into the side walked,she began to follow him,careful not to rise suspsion.(sp?)After a few moments, she played on the damsel in distress as she steped over the curb,and fell.
"Crap that hurt!" she winced lightly as she yalled out enough for him to hear as she sat on the curb,holding her 'twisted ankle'.

Ryder heard the girl, but to a normal viewer, they wouldn't have guessed it. He kept right on walking towards the end of the block, turning a corner and pretending to not notice Nightshade. Once he was around the corner, he gave a slight smirk.

She cursed lightly in her head, it didn't work, and now her ankle was throbbing. She sighed, letting her head rest on her knee, sitting there for a moment as she closed her eyes. crap....if I'm loosing my appeal...my reputation could be ruined....oy, mom why did you leave ths to me?

Suddenly, in a blink of an eye, Ryder's body flickered out of view and appeared right behind Nightshade. He leaned close to her ear and whispered, "You need help miss?" His eyes sparkled with life.

She looked up to him, relived smile on her face, she nodded lightly,playing her voice as smooth and taunting as could be " Well, I could use a hand getting up...."

Ryder saw the way she smiled and also let out a small grin. As was his usual habit with girls, he took a quick look of her up and down and stuck out his hand while standing up.

She smiled lightly, placing a gentle hand in his and stood up, taking a moment to gain her balance. " Thank you."
She smiled lightly, seeing the way he looked at her, giving him a quick glance as to make him think she was checking him out also, though it was partially true.

Taking her hand and lifting her up, Ryder gazed into her eyes and asked, "And what, may I ask, would a pretty lady like you be doing out in the Upper Side?"

She smiled lightly, letting her taunting eyes sparkle under the moonlight, now knowing that she could pull him in with her eyes,she would use them to her advantage. She looked to him, letting him help her, she looked some what embarrased for huring her foot. " heh, I was just taking in the sights and getting some fresh air."

Raising an eyebrow in curiosity, Ryder said nothing more of her explanation. He saw her eyes sparkle in the moonlight and it seemed that her full exotic beauty seemed to come out. She was rather like a star...a very dark star. Ryder's eyes flashed into an intense blood red color. Pain, hatred, and arrogance seemed to be mixed into his iris. Not seeming affected by Nighshade, Ryder asked, "Do you need to get to a hospital, or can you walk?"
