There is a large spread of green lawn, and beyond that lies thick woods. A tall steel fence marks the entrance, and the driveway leads to a three-story manor at the top of the low hill. On the ground floor lies the entrance hall conjoined to a ballroom, a dining room, kitchen, parlor, library, swimming pool, and theater.
The second floor has Anika's bedroom, office, and guest rooms. The third floor are the servant's living quarters. It has a light, warm decor, and is well tended to. No expense was spared to make it luxurious and inviting. Outside is a beautiful garden, a couple of tennis courts, and six guard dogs at attention.

Slamming the car door, Anika turned to greet the onslaught of six licking tongues and wagging tails. Delighted, she crouched and began cooing at the mutts and scratching their heads as they pushed through each other, vieing for her attention. After a moment of baby-talking and petting, she suddenly remembered the new arrival and stood abruptly, clearing her throat. "These are the guard dogs, very vicious and dangerous," she giggled and smiled sweetly at the dogs, then turned to Charlotte. "Okay, so they don't look like much, but since you're with me and don't seem to be hurting me, they won't attack you. But once we go inside, I'll put them on attention again, and they'll take down anyone who steps foot on this property." She stooped down to pet one, then motioned Charlotte to follow, turned and strode up the front steps and through the door, into a large entrance hall.

((Its fine. and sorry for the long reply...))
Charlotte smiled at the mutts, and laughed softly when her Mistress called them guard dogs. Smiling, she looked fondly at the animals, saying softly, "No, they dont look like much. But appearances can be decieving, cant they?"
She followed behind the woman, entering the house with her, her eyes wandering over the large room. "You have a nice home." was all she said, her voice polite but her eyes still not accepting of this new turn in her life. Then again...she didnt accept the cage in the marketplace either. So what would she accept?
