So I'm reading Life, The Universe and Everything at the moment, the third book in the five part triology by Douglas Adams. What I like so much about the Hitchhiker's Guide series is the Englishness of it all, I mean if it had been done by anyone else I don't think it would have quite the weird antiquatedness that is so English. Has everyone else read the series?

Oh, I've recently started reading the second book (the Restaurant at the End of the Universe) and I agree. If it was, say, American, there wouldn't have been the incident with the tea, in the beginning of the book. It just makes so much sense.
I found a website based on the Hitchhiker's Guide, and it's a sub-site of BBC.co.uk called H2G2. It's apparently the Earth edition of the Guide. xD

I read the series for a short while but it did not really stick into my memory. Possibly because the jokes are too language or culture-based for me to understand. I read them when I was very young. Now I don't know where the books are anymore confused

I've read Douglas Adam's series about 3 times, and I love it. I like how it mixes science fiction with witty humor - it's great.
