I dont know, but I it is supposed to be good, so I want it.

I own it and I think it's pretty good. It's really weird going from GOW to Lost Planet becaue the controls are so different. It takes a little getting used to and some of levels are repetative, but once you get around those little problems it's pretty good.

I see... I'll probably rent it first to see how it is. Is it the same as the demo? Or did they change it up?

Yeah, How is the multiplayer?
Also, single player is a major part of my enjoyment, besides for repetative, how good was the action?

I heard controls are bad, something about getting into a suit and picking up a weapon is the same button and can mess you up. I looks good though

Lost Planet is an amazing game. You can all say it's bad, but depending on how you play it, it's good. The demo SUCKS BALLS! It's the first two levels of the game, and the actual ones in the game are even better than those gay ones are. The game itself is SO much better than the demo, and the multiplayer is simply amazing. There are tons of different grenades, different weapons, VS's (the big-a** mechs) and plenty of levels. If you haven't played the multiplayer, you haven't truly experienced the game. The campaign is slow-paced and short, with only certain weapons and VS's available in certain areas/levels. If you were to buy this game for one reason and one reason only, it would be the multiplayer. It's fantastic. Oh and if you do buy it, be advised that the anchor (hook-shot thing) is mapped to X instead of Y, and the rifle actually has a scope. razz From my experience, the game is just unbelievable from start to finish. If you have an HDTV it's even better.

Bottom Line: A great game (but I have to say GoW beats it in campaign), and a good buy. If you have some extra money and decide to buy a game to waste some time or try something new, I recommend Lost Planet.

I bought it before playin it too, well that wasn't the mistake, I bought it and like none of my friends did T T The game is really fun, so is the multiplayer, it's fluent and everything. The game is pretty unique in being able to strip the mechs of their heavy weapons and use them, you can also find the big weps in the ground and attach them to a VS and use it. The campaign was hella fun, lasted me a few days which is long for me since it usually takes me a nice 5 hours for games like this. The last level was G-R-E-A-T GREAT!!! The VS you get to use gets all pimped out with laser swords and can fly O: The grapple hook is also pretty unique as you can grapple into pretty much anything. The thermal energy thing is also pretty cool, you get that by going into special heater things with a circle around them or setting up command posts. The bosses in the game are also pretty damned challenging and once you beat the game and get extreme mode, it's no pushover like insane mode in gears. It is ******** HARD XD Overall, I give the game a 4 out of 5
