For Religious reasons. The first guy I fell in love with dumped me because he all of the sudden had "values". Now I've been dumped to "Preserve the friendship, and follow the word of wisdom"

Which part of teh Word of Wisdom was he preserving, anyway?

In otherwords, he's fifteen, not allowed to date till' sixteen, and even if he was sixteen, he's not supposed to just date me.
So basically, its a big no no to be with a non-member.
Much less date her exclusively.

yup, I know the feeling. Regardless of religion, it probably isn't a great idea to be with anyone who has their family/Religion make their decisions for them, anyway. It can cause too many problems in the long run.

My first boyfriend only dated me to convert me. When he figured out he couldn't, things started going downhill. I dumped him, though. (YAY)
He didn't like people knowing that he was going out with a non-mo, either. He always treated me different around his Mormon friends.

Being a Mormon myself it bothers me when other Mormons "date to convert". I don't think that the Lord would want anyone of any faith (or lack thereof) to use a relationship to make someone believe the way you do.
