Welcome! Welcome! In September I started the guild's first RPG, and as I had originally planned, I have moved my outside RPG here.Teh History This RPG was begun in February, and has gone through many players and plots. Our original moderator, Cereal, handed over authority of the RPG to me, as she has become too busy to maintain it herself. So, in order for my to properly run our well-loved RPG, I have moved it here, where hopefully we can draw in a few more players and continue the story in a more intimate setting. I will keep the old thread alive for OOC purposes and RPG discussion purposes. It can be found here ~> OLD THREADThere are pictures of all of the characters on the first and second pages if you are interested. Cereal & Kitty's Rules *DO NOT let your character die out. Especially if it's a main character who is crucial to the RP!! (And by dying out I mean a post per century....--;; ) * If I think you're not participating, I have the right to remove you from the list (we've all had enough of PMing people again and again) *No made-up characters until the cast list is full. *I'd like to have this thread used almost exclusivly for RPing, so if you have something OOC to talk about, please do it in the old thread Teh People Membership: Those active or mostly-active members from the old thread have their names on the list. Everyone else is open for new players, so if you'd like to join, PM me!Characters:(For the most part, I would like to limit one character per person. I can make exceptions)Suzaku:Miaka - Meilichan Tamahome - Hotohori - Nuriko - Yue_Kurine Chichiri - Tasuki - Mitsukake - Chiriko - Seiryuu: Yui - Niftyness <~new!Nakago - Nakago Amiboshi - Takefumi Tonami Suboshi - Soi - Tomo - Kitty Little Ashitare - Miboshi - Byyako: Subaru - Korin-Chan Tatara - Korin-Chan Tokaki - Korin-Chan *Special* Tenkou - Nakago Houki (Hotohori's empress) - Tai Yi Jun - Keisuke (Miaka's bro) - Tetsuya (Keisuke's friend) - Nakago wrote a rather kick-a** summary, which I here use to refresh everyone's memory, and to introduce any newcomers to the action... Storyteller Nakago It was a dark and stormy night....Oh wait...wrong story...Let's see...::Flips through a dusty old book, more a tome of ancient text:: Ah...here we are...The Universe of the Four Gods.
::A flash of lightning...Thunder rolls::
::Somone trips over the Special effects generator's cord and everything goes black::
::sigh:: Fine...::turns the lights on:: We'll do it this way.
The story as of now, and the most recent string of events would be (As my memory serves me...something like this. (Mind you..many characters have all but dissapeared etc...so this is all a bit shakey at the moment.))
Similar beginning to the original story...you know..Miaka and Yui make their way here...Miaka had an easy time, Yui, hardly so. The story from there however diverges significantly...On the Suzaku side, though there has not been much motion of late, all but one or two Seishi had already been gathered, and a band of them with Miaka were out in the Konan countryside seeking the others...well, Finding out about this event, Kutou...Via Nakago's orders sent spies into Konan to keep track of things. Also...A half man Half wolf has made its way into Konan and stirred up some trouble. As for the spies and the relation to the band of travellers...the plan is to kidnap Hotohori...which through spying means has been identified as His Majesty, Empreor Saihitei, thus accomplishing this would be a double whammy. Also...There seems to be a love interest between Nuriko and Miaka currently as opposed to the originaly story focusing around Tamahome. On the Seiryuu side...Nakago, is still ever the antagonist, but we must get to where we are, After her "experience" coming to this world, Yui attempted suicide to not have to live with what had happened. Near death, The Seiryuu happened upon a doctor travelling through the land who was actually a Suzaku Seishi, and he slipped through the grasp of Seiryuu after saving Yui's life. Through a few encounters, she accepted her postion as the Seiryuu no Miko and things are also now in motion to replace the current eemperor of Kutou with an Empress...so that she can save the land..even before she has the power to have wishes granted. Meanwhile...Seiryuu had a visit from an unlikely pair...Byakko decided to make itself known and Subaru and Tatara came calling on the Shogun of Kutou. All these things working to Nakago's advantage, Seiryuu Seishi are showing up without effort on their part, spies are en route for a kidnapping, and things are going well according to plan.
Most current string (on the Seiryuu side at least) would be the arrival of the Boshi Brothers and their acclimating themselvses to the Palace, Tomo is currently "escorting" the Byakko out to the Borders, by Nakago's orders with alterior motives, Yui is resting...it has been a long day (Both in the RP, and post wise to just get through this one day...wow!) Nakago was not sleeping well so is Out in the Palace, the Boshi's are settling in...and thats about where we are...(Did I miss anything major? ::hopes not:: )...we are late evening/night in the halls of the Palace of Kutou. Thank you Nakago-sama, for that summary, it rocks! whee (Gomen, I had to do a little spelling correction) Anyhoodilyhoo, if you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

(((I know Ms. Little said to use the Old Thread for OOC posts...but I think she will forgive me this one..and if not..I can edit it out. When I checked with Moderator Little, she said for us who have always been there in the old one, to begin with a copy of our latest post, so I shall do that..and if your's does not directly play off mine, you should probably do the same. For those on the Suzaku side, as there has not been much movement in a LONG time...you may just want to start fresh somwehre along the same story, but not having to follow off your last post.
Another note I think it should be fair to make mention of, is that in the old thread, I took it upon myself to do MOST of the NPCing, and as of yet no one had objected or complained...so I think we will continue in that vein for now. (I make it clear the distinction between Nakago and the other Characters...you'll see!)
Nakago- )))- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Late Evening...Kutou Palace...Amiboshi Amiboshi grabbed the clothing and smiled, "No, I think that's it all for now. You've been a big help, I really appreciate it!" ~And~Nakago ::Recomposing himself, robe fluttering in the wind, Nakago walked the garden a bit longer before slowly making his way back to the main building. He stopped the first servant he could see and ordered that a pot of tea be taken to his room. He walked slowly down the halls in thought:: ((Servant Girl, Tending to Amiboshi))<"Thank you Sir" :She said with a polite bow:: "If you need anything..don't hesitate to ask." ::She then backed to the doors, turned sideways to open them and slipped out into the hall, keeping her eyes on him until she closed the doors behind her. he turned immediately after only to find that she didn't have time to stop from running into the ominous man walking the halls::> ::Nakago's thoughts were interrupted when one of the young servant girls came quickly out of the room prepared for one of the twins, and not looking where she was going, ran straight into him, falling over on the floor, and knocking over the decorative pot with a plant between Amiboshi's door and his brothers::
::He watched as she gained her composure and apologized profusely...his expression unchanged from the moment he had left the garden.::
"Just be sure to clean up this mess and then be on your way..."

Walking along those broken streets, the tide of souls brush past and filter throughout one other on the road to nowhere. Different destinations, separate lives of privacy, darting eyes confined to the ground, head proudly confident and alert yet seeing nothing ahead of them. The filtering of the day progressed to a stagnant end within the cesspool city brimming with oppression and cold. The night would come each day to increase the shadow's effect at each waning lamp light, and such darkness would never seem to lift. That was the city she left, and it was the same that she returned to.
Despite the arrival of the Priestess of Seiryuu, cold, slate colored orbs could not help but to see the same hopelessness and despair etched into weary faces. Did that even know of the Priestess' presence? Would the Priestess even change anything at all? Either way, the welfare and condition of a country not her own was really none of her concern. All that mattered was one. And she was returning to him now.
The palace guards were able to recognize the female warrior upon her arrival to the gates and past, a small scroll of identity and the summoning letter merely a second formality. Of course, her first wish as well as direction lead to the Kutou Shogun. However, finding him within the expanses of the palace was another matter. Hearing word that the man had been sighted in the gardens, she began there, though word of her return should have began to circulate as well.

((Servant Girl))<::The young servant girl was sufficiently emberrassed and now, almost in a state of fear. She knew who she had just run into. She hustled to clean up the mess, not even looking up at him:: "H-hai Shogun..." ::Nakago watched only a moment more and was about to resume his walk when a stray gaurd turned the corner and shouted to him::"Shogun!"::With all this commotion right outside their rooms, it would not have been a suprise to have the Twins join the fray...this evening was getting more interesting by the moment. He watched as the gaurd scurreid over to where they were and nelt next to the servant girl finishing her task...it was then it hit him. His focus had been so completely detracted that he had not even felt the approach.::::Bowing:: "News from the front gates Shogun...its-"::Not even so much as giving the soldier a look, he turned his gaze towards the halls leading to the garden he had lately left.::
"Yes...She has returned...Return to your post."::Cut off, while rising to leave:: "Hai Shogun!"::All but ignoring the soldier at that point he turned back to the servant girl as she was just about to leave.::
"I have another task for you. Prepare another room. Another Seiryuu Seishi has arrived."
::His focus now completely turned from that which had kept him from sleep and led him to the gardens earlier he paused and his mind went on a new train of thought.::
'Only two more to go...'

No matter how tainted, desolate, and barren the city streets and markets existed as with their empty pavilions, the sights within the Kutou Palace itself seemed to be the kingdom's purpose. Everything was lavish and in excess, from the aesthetics, to the five course meals at every hour, to the courtesans and soldiers and entertainers. And yet, at the same moment, she would never have cared to be privileged to live amongst any of it those past few years of her life. There was nothing to tie her loyalties or pride to this country and its kingdom in lieu of every sin it had done unto her. But of course, that was not completely true. For she was here and back again.
In light of the beauty and decorations that surrounded the palace, the garden was no exception from a careful artisan's placement for the perfect picture. Even as a mere passerby, the flowers and pathways framed her form within a picturesque beauty in more than one respect. She was no longer a loathsome toy, played with by the cruel heart's of fickle and selfish children. This woman, dressed in something so audacious outside of long, flowing dresses and gowns, inside of free movement and light armor. It was beautiful because she was a warrior. And she was proud to be of those called the Seiryuu Seishi.
Yet despite this honor and this position, some snuffed aspect of her as a lady, a girl, had her pause before a night flower in full bloom, brushed with silver moonlight. White Flower. One that she would always be, no matter how blood soaked and bound she ever became.
In her diversion, she caught the poignant aura of one completely familiar and known to her with a slight startle. A great relief and anticipation washed within her, though her countenance did its best not to betray that austere woman. Straightening to attention, visage masked to formality, she waited to watch him approach within the same frame of foliage and azure petals.

Straightening to attention, visage masked to formality, she waited to watch him approach within the same frame of foliage and azure petals. ::Nakago walked slowly past the Boshis' rooms and back down the hall from whence he had come, back towards the garden. She had been seeking him, immediately upon her return. It had not been too long since he had sent both her and Tomo from the palace. Tomo had returned first...drawn back the very day Yui had appeared. And now Soi had returned.::
::The golden locks flowed freely against the dark blue robe as he strode down the halls. Aside from the gaurds on watch duty and a rare occasional servant, most of the palace was asleep by now. He walked the ornately decorated ahalls in silence, save for his footsteps and emerged into the cool night air just outside the garden::
::He walked along under the overhang just outside the garden itsself until he came to one of the entrances of the garden, there he stepped out into the moonlight, just into the edge of the garden. He pasued a moment...glancing up at the sky, where the moon stood high, and equadistant..or close enough anyway to each of the stars of Seiryuu. All but two seemd to shine brighter that all the rest of the stars in the sky. He then lowered his gaze and saw her waiting for him.::

[RPG] "What the-?" Amiboshi asked as loud noises were heard outside his room. He put his clothing on as quickly as he could manage, and poked his head out. The golden-haired shogun was heading down the hall. It was about that time that the young seishi picked up on something different. Could it be, he wondered, another....
His curiousity piqued, he pulled off his arm bracer and used one of his longer nails to write a message, "Suboshi, something's going on, meet me in the hall." [/RPG]

Soi stopped beside the last cross path before him, a bed of closed, yellow chrysanthemums measuring the distance between them. The corners of her scarlet painted lips could not help but to curve just slightly, the rainy grey orbs softening despite the sharp flint of his ice blue eyes.
"Nakago-sama," she parted her lips to speak, voice level and lucid, carrying easily throughout the quiet ambiance around them. "Please forgive my delay in returning. I hope my absence has not hindered the progress of the Priestess." And of course, she knew, whether she was there or not did not matter so much to the rapid progress and advancement of Kutou in any way. All that was necessary was the one general, and he appeared to be in just as well of a condition and health than when she had left him. Just as aloof and determined. It put her at ease, even though her worry was anything but needed.
"Have you found many of the others?" She asked, sensing the interconnected web of stars more strongly now that he, too, was in close proximity to her. There was quite a bit that she would have to catch up on, and several people to meet.

He was taking a shortcut through his rounds and didn't think anyone important would be up...much less know he wasn't supposed to be there then. even in his heavy boots and armor, weapons and the like...he was being relatively quiet as he walked by the Boshi's doors, not even noticing that face that stared out of one of the rooms:: >Soi (Haku Kaen) Each hushed step placed upon carved puzzle woven cobblestone echoed with a faint resonance as the figure came up to the garden border where he eventually emerged. Had she arrived not but a few minutes earlier, when he had been alone in the garden...He had been in a state of emotional vulnerability...Not the strong and composed Shogun, the most powerful man in Kutou...Beides...she had not been too late in returning, as Yui had only just recently come to their world. His expression still unchanged...cold and hard.::
"Your timing is acceptable Soi. You will be introduced to the Seishi we have gathered and Lady Yui tomorrow. It's late...Come...A room is being prepared for you."

Nakago ::He turned and took a step back under the awning and stood, body angeld half at her half down the hall from which he had come and they would soon go:: And no matter how his expressions and mannerisms never seemed to waver or change as opposed to all those around her, as well as herself, she nodded slightly, her own contented expression remaining. The only thing that she would have to be upset about was being unable to see any other side of this untouchable man. And no matter how desolate and far away, there was some amount of time, at least.
"I see," she answered shortly after. Lady Yui, and several others. "I will look forward to it."
The stems bowing slightly with the weight of each folded cluster of fragrances brushed passed her as she went to him. She remained slightly behind him, toward his left side as he lead her. From the position she took, it was difficult to see his features, but she could watch him without hiding her gaze.
"I trust that the Kutou soldiers, that you've, been well?" She had finally managed to inquire after a drawn pause.

"I trust that the Kutou soldiers, that you've, been well?" She had finally managed to inquire after a drawn pause. ::Nakago began walking as she approached and led the way down the halls. They both knew she had a general knowledge of the palace and did not need to be led around, but it didn't matter. He had trod this same way more times in this single evening than he had in many nights otherwise put together. It was the fastest route between his own chamber and the garden, and hers was not too far off as well. Some of the lamps in the hall, having been let unattended, were out and so the halls were darker than normal.::
"Most of the kutou soldiers are just as restless and hungry for battle as they have ever been. As for myself...things are falling into place well, and for this I am pleased."
::His voice remained unwavering, though inside he was shifting between his emotions that had kept him up, and thoughts of the events that were coming together. He turned the corner down that same hall where the Boshi brother's were situated and caught sight of the gaurd who was passing through, he frowned:: ::The soldier didn't have time to react as he heard the footsteps coming down the hall, and his eyes went wide when Nakago and Soi emerged from the darkness. He didn't even have time to muster any more than a worried "Shogun!?!" as he fell to one knee between the Boshi's rooms.::

Takefumi Tonami Amiboshi winced as the guard kneeled. The man looked terrified at the sight of the shogun and a woman Amiboshi had never met. I wonder if she's his.... he shook that thought out of his head before it could go anywhere. Nevertheless, he stood watching the scene unfold from the doorway, hoping to go unnoticed for the time being. ::Nakago said nothing at first as he led the way down the hall. Even in just his dark blue night robe, the wy the lights were with some lamps lit and others having been ignored, either out or barely still aflame, e was still an ominous sight to behold. Especially since the stone meloncholy look he normally wore was not more of an angry frown. He stepped out of the light of the last fully light lamp and emerged into the fading light of the one between the Boshi's doors, which only added to the frightfullness. He came to a stop not two steps in front of the kneeling gaurd, who by this time was shaking, still bowed, afraid to look up, or even move at all. coming to a stop, he thought he felt a hint of a draft, but his current focus was on the soldier in front of him.::
"I believe I made it explicitly clear that no soldiers were to pass through these halls after dusk unless there was a Dire emergency. Did I not?"::Nakago's icy gaze bore down on the man, and he raised his left hand towards the quivering soldier:: ::The soldier had barely had time to mutter...::
"H-H-Hai...Shogun..."
::...When his breath caught in his throat as he was lifted off the ground and into the air by an unseen force that matched the movement or Nakago's arm. The gaurd was held in the air, and his chin was forced up, causing him to lock eyes with Nakago::

Screwed XD ::...When his breath caught in his throat as he was lifted off the ground and into the air by an unseen force that matched the movement or Nakago's arm. The gaurd was held in the air, and his chin was forced up, causing him to lock eyes with Nakago:: Years of force and submission had stamped any sort of extraordinary compassion she may have held to fine, black, ashes. Yet when compared to the ruthless man and his carried actions before her, the concept of sympathy may as well have been extraordinary in comparison. Not even an hour's half within their meeting and she was profoundly reminded of his indescribable abilities which were as supernatural as any of the Seishi's. But his could often times border a god's to their eyes. Thus, her own perception saw it as such, and she could not help but to alter their gaze temporarily.
"Nakago-sama..." She began tentatively, a suggestion among the stifled chokes and throaty rasping he was emitting periodically. "This soldier may have simply been trying to find you to alert you of my arrival."
She left it at that, the rest of his mercy up to his discretion alone. It wasn't that she was uncomfortable or afraid for the victim's sake. Pain was something she should be accustomed to as well. It was simply the grounded fact that nothing about this man of stone had not, and would not, change.
As she looked off from the spectacle, she caught sight of the boy watching them. Her first thought was a wry regard for his foolishness in staying within the hall despite Nakago's punishment. As she continued to return her gaze, however, she realized there was more to the boy than met the eye.

Haku Kaen "Nakago-sama..." She began tentatively, a suggestion among the stifled chokes and throaty rasping he was emitting periodically. "This soldier may have simply been trying to find you to alert you of my arrival."
As she looked off from the spectacle, she caught sight of the boy watching them. Her first thought was a wry regard for his foolishness in staying within the hall despite Nakago's punishment. As she continued to return her gaze, however, she realized there was more to the boy than met the eye. ::Nakago's eyes narrowed. It was possible that she was right, though very improbable. After a moment more of leaving the man stranded in that position, Staring into his fear-struck eyes, he closed his own eyes and the man dropped to the floor. He said nothing more, but kept his arm extended towards the soldier, which, in effect, said "Get out of my sight, lest I change my mind". Gaurd...(A.K.A. Screwed)::The gaurd hit the floor and lay there ony as long as it took him to regain control of his body, and compose himself enough to think clearly enough to scurry off and not be seen again. ::As chiseled, cold and hard as he had been made...he was not completely merciless, though the situation had surely been in the soldiers favor even though he had not know it, with the appearance of the Priestess and the gathering of the Seiyuu Seven.::
::The prescence of Amiboshi had not come to his attention yet, as knowing they were right next to the boys' rooms, he would obviously sense them close by. But as he took another stop forward, lowering his arm, and Soi did not immediately follow suit, he turned to look back and saw her glance the direction of Amiboshi's door, where his eyes now went. It would turn out to be a good thing that he had not done otherwise concerning the soldier...it had seemed before that the boy was apprehensive, things would have only gone downhill had he chosen another route.::
"A little restless tonight Amiboshi?"
