Can vary a lot really. If I'm in the gym then it depends on how free all the equipment is and how intense the session is. Its between 45mins and 1hr30 really.
If I'm playing rugby its about 2hrs

Total...
two weeks ago it was about 6 hours a day (yeah). Now it's been like 1 1/2 hours. Hoping to increase it.
Mostly cardio and weight lifting.

Everyday I turn on my TV to work out, hehe.
If you have Comcast cable, you have access to a lot of free OnDemand programming. I love the variety of routines ExerciseTV provides, and it's all ordered under categories like Abs, Quick Workouts, Cardio, Sports Training, etc., so you can really get a full body workout in a lot of different ways. Also, it's updated often.
I usually do 20 minutes of Cardio-specific routines and 20 minutes of Ab-specific routines, and maybe a 10 minute Buns program, too. With these you're working out all kinds of areas in the body with exercises that have been researched and tested to give you the results you want. Some even include simple equipment, like light weights or that big ball thingie.
Variety is the key for me *wanting* to work out everyday. Good luck, and find your motivation. heart

Cody-chan I run every day after I eat to burn off the food. What are some other ways to burn fat besides running and jump rope?

DOCTOR DOOOM Cody-chan I run every day after I eat to burn off the food. What are some other ways to burn fat besides running and jump rope? Pretty much any exercising. Building muscle will also help to burn fat.

Like sweetest hippie, I also work out while watching TV sometimes. For so long I had just sat on the couch and watched TV. I realized it and decided that I should go to the other room where my gym equipment is. I can still have the pleasure of sitting down and watchign TV, but now I could pump some iron at the same time. biggrin
I don't overdo it. Just maybe an hour or two every day or so. 3nodding

I'm sorry, but if you're working out six hours a day, then you're doing nothing for your body other than fatiguing it. I mean, bodybuilders don't even spend six hours a day at the gym. They may spend an hour on cardio and two on weights, but good lord, man. That's really ineffective.

Well, if I'm doing cardio, it's a 5k in 20 minutes. But if I'm weight training, it'll take about 2 hours.

That seems like it would be necessary just to promote muscle growth when ur at that level.

Generally after an hour you will get diminishing returns, so I generally keep my workouts to an hour or less. Although some days I do 2-3 workouts, but only ever 1 of those would be weightlifting. Rest is so much more important than most people seem to realise.
