Hey all seems like a few of you play so I thought I would stat a thread for it.
Umm so a conversation starter....
oh ok.
Whats your current deck theme. I like to play a blue black ninja deck, its really effective. If I'm not playing ninjas I play a green deck with massive monsters and lots of upgade cards.

I just started playing about a month ago (and there are not many players around where I live, so I played online with some friends but I still alck practice XD).
Anyways, my first deck was a all white one (from Time Spiral edition), I don't know the English name, sry. I still play with it but I changed some cards in it to make it better.
Else, I have a red/green/white Sliver deck. I've seen slivers the first time I bought some boosters and I thought they were cool, all acting as a team and everything, so I bought a Sliver deck (always Time Spiral XD) and I changed cards in this one too, to make it better and more the way I wanted it.

Good it has been many many moons since I played. Waaayyyy back during the second edition of the game. Now I only play Call of Cthulhu and Gloom. Good old dark and creepy games. *grins*

Sliver decks can be super annoying >.< I personaly am not a fan of decks that are more than 2 colours, they can be hard on land.

I have a Szadeck card (I don't know the whole English name, sry XD) and it looks rather nice. I'm going to try to make a deck with it as the main card. I don't know yet if I'll have enough good cards to make a good deck around it XD
My all white stays my fav so far, but maybe it's because that's my first deck XD

My gf is very good with her red white deck. I preffer using my blue black its definately my fave.

There is a small local tournament tomorrow. I know I won't win it (I'm not good enough yet XD) but I'm going to participate all the same. First because I wanna know how it's done and 2) because it will give me more experience with the game ^^

Thx Liz ^^ @ ForbidenFaeryDesire => you can find a downloadable tutorial on tha website : http://www.wizards.com/magic/playmagic/An online friend learned me the basics, but that tutorial really helped me to understand better (and you can play it as many times as you want ^^). Hope it will help.

I love Magic. It's a good game, and since I started learning, I like...Stopped playing Yu-Gi-Oh. whee I've got a wicked-mean black deck right next to me. My friend won't play against it anymore, because it's too fast for him. biggrin Bunch of shadows, bury cards, -x/-x cards, and too many power-ups.. biggrin It's only 45 cards.
I have affectionately named it Tar Monster...(Like the Scooby Doo bad guy...)

I know alot of tournaments that say you can't have less than 40 or more than 80, but...o-O; Cuz mine's 45 cards. Ooh! Ooh! I named it! <3 Scooby Doo is my idol, and I have justly named it the 'Tar Monster.' -looks into it.-

Maybe US tournaments are not totally the same than in France XD
Or maybe you do that kind of tournaments they call drafts.... no, not possible since in a draft you build your deck from the boosters you get at the beginning of the tournament. Well, I don't know, just maybe US and France aren't the same XD
