Ah Chicago weather...
With windchill its approx 23 below zero (Farenheight) (-23 degrees... 32 is freezing)
No school for us because our superintendent (guy who decides if or if not school) couldn't get his car to start... heh... (as in, some pipe froze, he supposedly just said "screw it" and called in to our district

actually, because I didn't find out we had no school until I got there, I had to walk back home (only about 3 blocks, conveniently). and once I got there, I found the lock on my front door had somehow frozen near completely... Luckily, I was able to open my backdoor though, but I was almost caught outside anyway.
*my poor earlobes*

That's definitely unfortunate. Thankfully on the day I got off, my mother drove me and the teachers sent us homeXD
Didn't it say on local radio or anything?

nope.. basically our district is one of the few that closed. The reason for this pity are twofold 1) the bears lost the superbowl
2) the superintendant was a complete A**hole earlier in the year when there were like 1.5 feet of snow and, although he didn't go to work that day, he said we all have to go to school...
so it was "making up" for it I think...

Oh, I watched part of the Superbowl, against the Colts, right? My dad loves it, so the other night we watched part of it (I went to bed, because it's rather later time difference etc.). We don't have a superintendant, what do they do? If our school is closed it's usually because of the warden deciding to be nice (no, no actually I don't think it is physically possible for her to be nice...).

I'm democratic. It was quite funny actually. If any of you knew hockey as much as I do then you would know that the All-Star game was in Dallas. I went to see it and when they had a special puck drop, it was [R] Gov. Rick Perry. When they annouced his name for the drop everyone in the staduim started booing at him. xd Also yes it is quite hot here.

Good, good.
No, I don't follow hockey...
How hot does it get sometimes? Here, the maximum is about 36 degrees but it very rarely gets like that. English weather is crap, but I love it!

Hmm, since you didn't lable your degrees C or F or K, I'll provide both. F^o = 105-110 C^o= ummm 40-50 something like that. K^o= ummm...? 273-283? Ya I think so...
