Waivuxaan glided towards the Ice Mountains, wondering if he would be able to get peace and quiet here. He had seen too many of his kin around and that bothered him slighty. He liked it when there was no one around. Seeing a good spot for him to land, he turned his body slightly, angling himself down towards the rocky mountains.
A few moments later, he landed on a jagged section of the mountain and he gazed around. He liked this area of the lands better than the other places he had visited. Folding his wings against his body, he gripped the rocks carefully, making sure not to loose his grip. Maybe now he could get the peace and quiet he had seeked so long and hard for.

 Akira spread her wings, diving off the cliff ledge. Her wings snapped open, pumping up and down in huge strokes. Her muscles rippled as she moved through the air. Her angles face dipped into the wind channels, her keen eyes darted back and forth, searching for easy wind thermals to take. She saw an opening, diving for it, her snaking tail following her. The thermal would drop her off right at her cave opening, perfect. She pulled up, landing easily at the cave mouth. It was getting rather cold, and snow was beginning to fall. She shivered, alighting a small shrub with flames. She curled up around it, letting the flames lick at her scales.

Waivuxaan climbed up the steep mountain side, not worrying about the snow that was falling upon his body. He was used to the cold atmosphere. Flicking his tail slightly, he saw a red figure crawl into a cave above him and something peaked his interest to go see who the figure was. Jumping up to the ledge with a powerful stroke of his wings, he peeked his head into the cave and smirked. "Knock, knock," he said in a sly whisper.

Akira twisted her neck around, her intelligent green eyes looking over male carefully. She snapped her jaws together, rising to her feet. "What business do you have in my cave?" she asked in a calm but powerful voice. She shuffled her wings, arching her neck. Her claws scraped against the stone floor, creating a sound rather likes nails on a chalk board. Akira winced, shaking her head at the displeasure.

Waiv smirked wider as he saw that he had gotten the femme's attention. "Just wondering why a beauty like you are in a place like this. Aren't you scared that someone might catch you off guard?" his voice was smooth and had a rumble in it. He ignored the scratching of her claws on the stone ground. He had gotten used to that sound after he himself had constantly made it many times he had wandered around the mountain area.

Akira dipped her head, sniffing around the cave floor, looking for the carcass she had left sometime that morning. "I do not fear such things," she said sharply, without glancing up. Her eyes lingered on a large rock, a couple steps away from the male's foot. She slithered up beside him, dragging her meat out from under the rock. She proceeded to drag it across the cave, back to her hot rock.

Waivuxaan canted his head to one side, watching the femme carefully as she began to look for something. Hearing her comment, he didn't wince at all. He was used to harsher comments from the other dragons, mainly the females. Seeing the femme approach him, he backed up a few steps and watched her take something out from under the rock he stood by. Seeing some meat, he stared at it for a few seconds, not wanting to take a chance in asking the femme for some. Taking a few steps into the cave, he looked around. "So, I take it you've been here before."

Akira hesitated in her steps, her eyes flicking towards the male. In truth, she hadn't. She had gotten lost in a nasty storm the night before. Unable to navigate in the winds, she had found this place. And now she had no idea where she was, or how to get home. She was both frightened and curious about this new land, but all she really wanted to do was go to her home. She wasn't about to let this male know this though. Akira would be strong, and in turn, would lie through her teeth. "Yess," she hissed quietly, ripping up a large chunk of flesh from her meat. She bit down hard on the bone, snapping it in half with a resounding snap. She lay sown again, around her rock. The meat tasted pretty good. Judging by the long twisting horns, it was some sort of sheep. But the thick white fur through her off. Whatever animal it was, it tasted pretty good.

Waivuxaan winced slightly as he heard the femme hiss a 'yes' before snapping a bone in half. He wouldn't have been scared of the femme if he was bigger than her, but nature had intended on the males being smaller than the females in this world. He was more than half Akira's size, but that didn't stop him from pursuing her...that was until he heard what her jaws could do to a small prey's bones. 'That could have been my neck,' he thought to himself, getting slightly nervous. "I can see you are busy. I will take my leave then, if you don't mind." He swiftly turned around and started to head towards the mouth of the cave.

Akira hesitated, mid-bite. Her eyes watched as the male turned, regret washing through her thoughts. This dragon might be her only hope of ever finding her way home. Akira dipped her neck, whimpering quietly. She wanted to go home, more than anything. She dropped the sheep's leg, looking mournfully after him. Maybe she shouldn't have scared him off....But it was too late now. Or was it?
"Wait...." the word slipped from her lips before she could stop herself. She tried to hide the fact that she was shaking by backing into the shadow of the wall, but she knew that she would be able to conceal it.

Waiv stopped in his tracks as he heard a single word being shouted at him from the femme's maw. He turned his head around to see the femme in the shadows of the cave. He was now extremely puzzled at the femme's reaction to him leaving. Shrugging slightly, he turned around to face Akira and he gazed at her through his bright-green eyes. "yes?" he asked her, a hint of curiousity in his voice.
