I remember being shocked by the ending...
I thought it was the right one though.
A nice end to the story...

The ending didn't make me cry, but I was sad because the series was over! I even read the date aloud from when the sega started to the end. And then I hugged it! lol.

I just finished the book this morning, I was shocked by how it ended!
But I don't think there was any other way for it to end.

Very true, if it wasn't ended that way we'd all hope Darren would suprise us with a new book in the saga, there would always be people asking him to write another installement. He'd see no end to it. Still there are many things he could write on about other characters, but we can't argue that the Saga of Darren Shan is over crying

I think the part that shocked me the most was little person Darren. I was flipping threw the pages (I have a tendency to do that when I read books) and then...BAM! I couldn't finish the book cuz I wouldn't pick it up for days. I didn't belive it.
