The lights suddenly dim down as the intro to "Break It Down Again" plays. As soon as the intro ends, the opening guitars to "You're the Best" pick up and smoke shoots from near the entrance way. A figure in a white shiny long jacket emerges, standing while looking at the fans as he stands in the shadows.
Try to best cause you're only a man and a man's got to learn to take it Try to believe though when the going gets rough that ya gotta hang tough to make it History repeats itself, try and you succeed, never doubt that you're the one and you can have your dream..
“This contest is scheduled for one fall, making his way to the ring from San Mateo, California , weighing in at 204 pounds the ‘Burning Avenger’ Cody Bogard”
The figure emerges as strobe lights go off to reveal....CODY BOGARD!!!!! Cody makes his way to the ring

Cody makes his way over to the ring, springing up to the ring apron, climbing the turnbuckle and posing with his arms open in a pose.

Cody jumps from the turnbuckle as he waits for his opponent.
Then, like clock work."Children of Decadence" By Children of Bodom hits the speakers as Jacob Figgins appears from behind the entrance curtain standing on the stage. With a bottle of energy drink in his hand he stared down to he ring intently.
"Running under cover of the moonlight shadow death row. At the night we're running wild with no hope for tomorrow...
No tomorrow!!!"
Figgins then takes his first step onto the entrance aisle, taking a drink and then spitting the contents onto the ground infront of him. With a cocky smirk he flashes the Fig Effect symbol and begins his trek down the ring.
“And the opponent, from Kansas City, Missouri ,weighing in at 267 pounds. ‘The Mid West Hitman’ Jacob Figgins”
"As we're walking through the fire, That burns within us all. If ya wanna take a glance to the blaze of pain You'll never be the same
You wanna get closer and get a taste of death? I know ya wanna ******** me down 'til I'm bleeding red I couldn't care less, I'll end up rotting in the mud So c'mon ******** and gimme yer best shot."
Figgins rolls into the ring after circling it once and looks to the referee and his opponent yet again flashing a cocky smirk as he awaited the bell. Cody advanced toward Figgins, then stopped a few inches in front of him, in order to size up this new opponent. The audience itself was silent seeing as they never seen both of them in the ring at the same time before. The ref then pointed to the time keeper and the bell rang ordering the match to a start.
Figgins clapped his hands together and went into his wrestling stance while he raised his right hand, challenging Bogard for a grapple. Cody mirrored Figgins and raised his hand as well, and accepted the tie-up .Cody quickly wrenched Figgins’ arm behind him and applied an overhead wristlock. Figgins ducked down straightening his arm and with his free arm gripped onto Cody’s . Figgins then slipped behind Bogard and applied a basic hammerlock. Cody tried to struggle out of this for a little while before finally Cody rolled forward and with his own momentum rolled Figgins into a grounded arm bar. Figgins’ legs shot up and he back-rolled onto his feet, Cody still having a hold of his arm. Figgins knelt down and with his left arm punched the back of Bogard’s knee causing them to give in making him hit the mat back first. At that Figgins was able to get his arm free from Bogard’s grasp. Smirking Figgins made an attempt to drop an elbow on Bogard, but Bogard rolled to his feet avoiding this as he then attempted a standing moonsault on Figgins. Figgins also got to his feet just in time to avoid this maneuver. Both men stood in the center of the ring staring at each other as the crowd began to cheer that little display of wrestling, even though both men were acting as if they were just warming up.
Figgins was the first one to get back into offense by landing a knee square in Bogard’s gut and then a back hand across the cheek for good measure. Bogard a bit annoyed by this struck Figgins in the chest with a forearm and then to emulate Figgins back handed him across the face. This made a smirk come across the face of Figgins as he turned his head to Bogard, as if asking for another one. Bogard looked at him strangely but didn’t turn it down, he raised his hand for another backhand to the face of Figgins. This time Figgins ducked under it and hooked his arms around Bogard’s torso before hauling him up and flipping him over his head landing a NORTHERNLIGHTS SUPLEX making him land neck and shoulders first on the canvas before he bridges going for a pin.

It was nay but a quick two count as Figgins sat back up and smirked, Bogard quickly got to his feet as Figgins was still taking his sweet time. Bogard this time didn’t let Figgins mount an offensive as he landed a few low kicks to the face before he got up, putting him in a daze for a while. As Figgins reached a vertical base Bogard kneed Figgins in the gut multiple times as he tried to whip Figgins into the ropes, but Figgins shot up an elbow to the temple making Cody lean against the ropes dazed. Not waiting for his opponent to snap out of it Figgins spun in place, and then used the momentum to hit a discus lariat hard enough to knock Bogard over the ropes and onto the floor on the outside. Figgins smirked as he saw Bogard getting up, the exact moment he got to his feet Figgins flew out of the ring and attempted a FOREARM SUICID---NO! Bogard managed to sidestep Figgins allowing him to crash and burn, falling short of the steel barricade only by inches. Figgins managed to pull himself up by the barricade even though he was in some pain from the last maneuver. Bogard walked up to Figgins and pushed him against the barricade and much to the liking of the crowd began to attack Figgins’ chest with machine gun slaps, for those in the front row it was happening right in front of them. Soon rapid fire slaps hit Figgins’ chest and the audience began to chant “ORA! ORA! ORA!” upon each impact. Finally to end it all off Cody did a back spin and hit a Uraken across Figgins’ chest causing him to slump down against the barricade. Figgins once again started to pull himself up to his feet as Bogard went for more strikes to Figgins, but Figgins managed to grab a hold of Cody’s left arm and wrenched it behind his back applying a hammerlock. Figgins then made an attempt to hit the IT CAME FROM ----HEADBUTT!! Out of desperation of avoiding the finisher Bogard head butted Figgins in the chest causing him to fall to the floor back first.
Bogard finally decided to take this madness back into the ring, as he slid under the rope and waited for Figgins to enter. Figgins sat up as he slid back into the ring and got to his feet. Even though Figgins was wearing a shirt, it was still obvious that his chest was red from beating that Bogard applied to it. Before Bogard could mount the offensive Figgins landed a backchop across Bogard’s chest. Figgins’ hands then clutched both sides of Bogard’s head as he then dropped left arm and landed a European uppercut right to the chin of Bogard causing him to stumble to the mat. Figgins then dropped to the ground and applied a sleeper on to Bogard and wrapped his legs around his abdomen in order to try and rob the air from his opponent. Upon seeing the hold applied the ref knelt down to monitor the hold better to see if Cody looks to be passing out or tapping out. Bogard’s face was starting to change color as the oxygen was getting sapped out of him each second that the hold was applied. But Bogard was not going down without a fight, and with the fans willing him on it was quite soon that Bogard was able to wrench one of his arms free and elbow Figgins in the ribs. A couple more well placed elbows landed on Figgins’ ribs finally making him let go of the hold. Figgins held his ribs as Bogard had time to regain oxygen.
Jacob rolls over to his feet, shaking off the strikes to the ribs and suddenly gets hold of Bogard by the waist, looking to go for a lift. Figgins stabilizes himself to get his balance and then whirls him in a torture rack position, starting to sway left and right, swinging him for a power bomb, but the Burning Avenger suddenly pulls a headscissors takedown. The crowd in the arena is suddenly cheering loudly, Bogard calling for Figgins to “Bring it” from his knees. Looking to catch him by surprise again, Cody goes for a hip toss but Jacob stiffens his arms to block and drives a boot to the gut, stunning him. The Mid-West Hitman throws an arm around Bogard’s neck and attempts an exploder suplex, all of the sudden Cody breaks the hold and hooks a leg around Jacob’s leg, grabbing his body and sweeping him off the mat with a body drop sumo throw. Seeing the ceiling of the arena, Jacob thoughts of how the Burning Avenger is pulling his moves off, are drained out by the raging cheers from the crowd, turning to see Bogard waiting for him to get up. Figgins pulls himself up and goes for a grapple, but gets caught in a Manhattan drop by Bogard, sending excruciating pain to his groin. Cody steps right up to the stunned Jacob, firing off a couple right forearm smashes to the head, soften him up to allow him to head the ropes for a running ddt attempt, but Figgins takes the upper hand with a Rotating Spear counter. Bogard pulls up to a seated position as he begins gasping for air and clutching his midsection. Jacob sees his chance, quickly standing to his feet and rushing up to Bogard with a headscissors hold, lifting him up to his shoulders in a Canadian backbreaker hold, flipping Cody over and nailing him with the Centrifuge DDT. The crowd turns their heads away in fear, watching the Burning Avenger flop onto his back, Figgins swinging over and hooking the leg for the pin.
1… 2… TH-BOGARD KICKS OUT!!!
Jacob immediately turns over to the referee shouting, “THAT WAS THREE, DAMMIT!” Taking a moment to argue with the ref, the Mid-West Hitman realizes that he can finish off Bogard instead of possibly getting DQed over a pin count. Approaching the slowing recovering King of Hearts, Figgins pulls Cody by his hair, bending him over and lifts him in the Canadian backbreaker lift, looking to hit the Centrifuge DDT again. Out of nowhere, Bogard manages to hook Figgins’ arm in the flip from the backbreaker hold and snaps off an amazing armdrag that gets the crown back in support for the King of Hearts. Jacob looks around wondering what just happened, turning over and seeing Cody back on his feet, prompting him to rise back up fast. Figgins immediately steps up to Bogard and pushes him to the ropes with a shoulder block, spacing both men a distance to allow Jacob to run off the ropes and at Cody with a running elbow smash, but the Burning Avenger stays one step ahead of him with a back brain kick, leaving him stunned. Cody looks for the advantage in the opening with an irish whip into the corner, but Figgins steps up the ropes and comes flying back at Bogard with the Leveler, only for Cody to duck under the leg lariat. Jacob rolls back to his feet and leans back for an elbow smash attempt, swinging and missing as Cody pulls a boxing type dodge backwards and strikes back with a rolling solebutt kick to the midsection. The Mid-West Hitman freezes in his tracks for a moment, allowing Bogard to fire off two big slaps and a spinning backhand chop to the head to knock him back a little, the Burning Avenger takes a quick moment to allow Figgins to plant his feet and thrusts a right palm at his chest with a sumo palm thrust. Jacob stumbles backwards from the strike, leaving his guard open for Cody to strike again with a left sumo palm, firing off more right and left sumo strikes as the crowd begins to chant “HAH!” with each sumo strike, driving Figgins into the corner. Getting him slumped into the corner, Cody grabs both of Figgins’ arms, crossing them across his neck while Bogard climbs up the turnbuckle, keeping hold from behind Jacob. The Burning Avenger pulls the Mid-Western Hitman towards him to get his knees against Figgins’ head and neck, Cody leans back a little and pushes off the turnbuckle using the weight of his body to crush Figgins with the Buffalo Branding. Jacob looks knocked out cold after taking that last vicious move while the crowd is still “Ooooing” in seeing what Cody did. Bogard rolls back to his feet, dragging Jacob’s body towards the center of the ring and flipping his body, having him see the lights. The King of Hearts rushes over to the corner, leaping up to the top and crouches down, begins slowly rising to a standing position, soaring across the ring like a hawk and crushes his knees on Figgins’ midsection and chest with a “PAINFUL” TURKS IMPACT!!! The crowd goes wild for Cody’s aerial strike, turning his attention over to Jacob and throws himself on top of Figgy for the pin.
1… 2… THRE- FIGGINS KICKS OUT!!!
The crowd is in shock to see the Mid-West Hitman to find the energy to kick out after taking two devastating attacks from Bogard. The Burning Avenger slams the mat hard, realizing the mistake of not hooking his legs. Cody gets up and heads near the ropes, throwing his right arm in the air while calling for Figgins to rise up using his left hand, which gets the crowd on their feet and cheering. Once at his feet, Jacob raises his head and sees Bogard charging straight at him for the EXCALI-Figgins ducks under and heads for the ropes, springing to the second ropes and catches a rebounding Bogard with the LEVELER!!! Jacob crawls over to Cody, pulling him by his hair while shouting, “TO THE MAX!!!” as both men stand up, Figgins shifts behind Cody, clutching his arms around his waist, lifting him up and nailing a German suplex, but he doesn’t stop there. The Mid-West Hitman rolls to his feet while keeping his arms around Cody’s waist, shifting his hold to a backdrop and lifts Bogard up for the FIG EFF- But Cody flips backwards to his feet. Figgins turns around to try for another move… EXCALIBUR SLASH BY THE BURNING AVENGER LEVELS FIGGINS!!! Cody slowly regains control, quickly throwing up an “X” sign with both arms and throwing them down. The King of Hearts pulls Figgins to his feet by the hair, reaching over for a fisherman’s hold, lifting him up and swings his body, spikes Figgy with his new finisher, the TWILIGHT EXECUTION: BURNING COSMOS XII!!!!!! Bogard reaches over Figgins body to hook his leg for the pin…
1… 2… 3!!!!!!
DING! DING! DING!
*Cody releases the leg and throws his arms in the air, to a hail of cheers from the crowd.*
Roselyn: Here is your winner, CODY BOGARD!!!
*Bogard slowly comes to his feet, walking over to the ropes and stepping over the ropes. The Burning Avenger makes his way up the ramp, taking some time to slap some hands of the fans and pose near the entrance way. Once Figgins gets back up to his feet, some of the crowd start clapping for him for the effort and match both he and Cody just did to start off Empty Pride.*

Roselyn: "The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a forty-five minute time limit! Your referee is Justin Mayfair."
The lights dim quietly on the gym as “Hide” by RED starts up on the speaker. Flashes of white the blue circle the back curtain as the crowd begins to cheer for who they know will step out from behind the ring soon. The guitar and bass kick in as the lights seem to meet at the base of the curtain.
Waste away, I'm crawling blind Followed by what I left inside For you, just you I'm caught in place But I ignore What I can't erase
The first verse finishes and none other then the Silver Flame him self steps out from behind the curtain pushing it to the side and absorbing all of the crowd’s cheers for him. He plats his feet and hits his signature pose, his arms out and above his head.
I will run and hide 'til Memories fade away And I will leave behind a Love so strong
The chorus hits and he holds the pose till the end of it giving the fans a bit of a treat. He drops the pose as the second verse begins.
Close my eyes, these voices stay Haunting me, I can't escape And for you, just you Time will always wait While I throw away What I can't replace
Roselyn: "Introducing first, from Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing in at two hundred twenty pounds...He is the Silver Flame...ICE!!!"
He makes his way down the isle slapping hands with as many of his loving fans as he possibly can, showing them just how much they really do mean to him. He leaps up onto the ring apron and leaps over the ropes into it. The crowd at this point is all over him cheering his name as he takes it all in feeding off of them.

Finally Ice hops onto the top of a turnbuckle and hits his pose one more time as the final chorus plays, catching it just as it starts. The blue and white lights all focus on him for a second as the music fades and he hops off of the turnbuckle ready for his opponent.
The crowd turns back towards the entrance ramp as the lights dim down, brightly flashing three times with the opening cymbal crashes of Dar's entrance theme. Most of the fans begin to boo and jeer for the entrance, but some immediately start to sing along or pound the barriers with the slow, menacing beat.

Muahahahaha...
As Eric Adams' sinister laugh fades into the background, the crowd is met with silence for a few short moments. The silence is then shattered by a thrash riff, strobe lights rapidly flashing over the entrance aisle as it continues. Fans generally meet this opening with boos, but some loyal fans to the Samoan begin to rapidly pound the barriers as they try to keep tempo with the riff, a few banging their heads as the song calms down for one brief second...
Only to explode again with fury and the first verse as Dar throws open the curtains, walking out into the aisle as the crowd's reactions intensify once again, showing their admiration or disrespect towards the Samoan. Dar doesn't seem to care much either way, slowly flexing his fingers into fists and back out again as he observes the arena, then calmly starts to make his way down to the ring, signature white trenchcoat flicking around his legs.

The Samoan knocks away the hands of those who try to lean over the rail to pat him on the back, but doesn't seem too bothered by it, as if he doesn't even care what these peons do. Standing at the end of the aisle, he looks up into the ring for a few moments, then walks around towards the other side of the ring, climbing up the steel steps there and walking across the apron to glance out over the crowd for a moment or two.

At the beginning of the chorus, Dar steps briskly through the ropes, walking out to the middle of the ring and reaching down to hold the clasp of his longcoat for a moment, looking over towards Ice with a calm glare before undoing the clasp and whipping the coat off his shoulders, tossing it out over the top rope to the outside for an official to catch, rolling his arms a bit.
Roselyn: "And his opponent...From American Samoa, weighing in at two hundred ninety pounds, he is a member of the Apostles of Amaranthine...The Archetypal Assassin...'GENERALLY HOSTILE' DARSON GRAYS!!!"
Through the dreadful storms, across the frozen oceans I have come from the dark lands with sorrow in my hands The firewind rages in the sky... And my luminous sword hungers for more I will leave no one alive!
FOR I AM THE SLAYER OF LIGHT!
Walking over to one of the free corners from there, Dar pulls himself up onto the second rope, looking out over the crowd for several moments before reaching down and grabbing the hem of his t-shirt, pulling it up over his head and throwing it down at an official. The Samoan points back at Ice without looking towards him, then brings his hand forward to draw his thumb across his throat. Ice doesn't seem intimidated at all by any of this, stretching out while he waits for Dar to finish. Dar takes a few moments to flex, showing off the difference between his and Ice's physiques.
I...I will break your will I...I will crush your fate I...I will slay your dreams I will reclaim the stars...
AND I WILL TEAR YOUR PRECIOUS WORLD APART!!!
Dar finally hops down from the corner, leaning back against it as he looks across the ring at Ice, the lights coming back up as one final scream fades out. Roselyn exits the ring, allowing Mayfair to take center stage, quickly checking both men for weapons before asking if they both are ready. Getting an affirmative from both of them, he steps back and calls for the bell.
DING DING DING!!!
The crowd is solidly behind Ice as the match begins, chanting his name loudly as the two men begin to circle around one another. Ice looks confident, but serious, aware of the importance of this match, while Dar looks as if he's taking an afternoon stroll rather than beginning a wrestling match. The two men stop circling, standing several feet across from one another, staring each other down. Ice begins to move in, Dar doing the same, the two giving one more half circle as they close in before locking up for the first time. Dar demonstrates his strength early by shoving Ice back and out of the grapple, but the Silver Flame manages to stay on his feet, only stumbling back towards the ropes. Straightening up, he looks Dar in the eye, showing he isn't going to be intimidated by the Samoan. The two circle quickly again before locking up once more. This time, Ice puts more fight into the grapple, actually pushing Dar back a step, but after a bit of twisting around and attempting to gain an advantage, Dar finally just shoves Ice again, this time sending him into the ropes. Dar backs off, apparently content with just intimidation tactics at the moment, but Ice quickly gets off the ropes, showing the same energy the crowd loves him for, and still showing no fear of his much larger opponent. In fact, Ice quickly jerks towards Dar, causing the Samoan to bring up his guard, but then steps back, grinning widely as the crowd bursts into cheers, the Silver Flame having just faked out his opponent. The nonchalant look on Dar's face is wiped off immediately at that, his eyes narrowing and mouth setting into that common scowl, apparently now ready to take this match seriously. Ice looks fine with that, ready to show the crowd, the Apostles, and everyone else that he can hang with the veterans.
Dar quickly moves forward to lock up with Ice, this time taking the smaller wrestler into a Side Headlock right away. Ice attempts to pull out of it at first, but then quickly shoves Dar back towards the ropes, managing to push him up against them and send him into the opposite set, breaking the hold. As the Silver Flame runs toward Dar, though, he's met with a hard Shoulderblock, sending him down to the mat. Dar quickly grabs Ice by the head as he starts to roll up to his feet, reaching down to lift him up for a Scoop Slam, effortlessly slamming him down into the canvas. The Samoan quickly scrapes his boot across Ice's forehead, whipping his head to the side at the boos from the crowd and glaring at them. This doesn't stop the fans, though, proud to show their support of Ice. As Ice starts to get back up to his feet, Dar quickly takes control again, stomping him across the back of his head and lifting him up, pushing Ice against the ropes before whipping him across the ring. Dar quickly cocks his arm, dashing forward for the CHARGING EL-NO! Ice ducks under it, quickly spinning around and launching himself up into a Dropkick, sending the Samoan nearly flying back into the ropes, wrapping his arms around them quickly to keep from dropping to the mat, his eyes wide with shock. The crowd is riled up again at the comeback, Ice quickly rolling up to his feet and running back to the opposite set of ropes, charging towards Dar again, only to get shut down with a Big Boot right into his face. Ice cringes as he hits the mat, already rolling over to start getting up again, but then stops himself, taking a few seconds to rest. The Samoan quickly takes advantage of that, pulling the Silver Flame up to his feet and whipping him into the ropes, this time taking him down hard with an elbow! Ice looks a little dazed after that strike, Dar quickly dropping down over him for the pin. "1...2" Ice kicks out.
The Samoan gets back up to his feet, quickly stopping Ice's progress with another hard stomp to the back of his head as he starts to get up, lifting him up the rest of the way and bashing him with another hard elbow strike. Ice doubles over in pain, Dar quickly pounding an elbow down onto the back of his neck as he does so. Ice drops down to all fours from that, shaking his head quickly to clear it, but isn't able to stop Dar as he pulls him up off his feet again and sends him hard down on his back with another Scoop Slam. Ice arches up on the mat, his back hurting a little now, but won't stay down for the veteran, quickly starting back upto his feet. As he turns around, the Silver Flame quickly sends a punch into Dar's ribs, wanting to keep him from getting control again, but Dar quickly lifts him back up anyway, turning him around and tucking his head under his arm, the crowd up on their feet as Dar pulls him back into the DANGEROUS BACKDROP-NO! Ice blocks it, wrapping his leg around Dar's. After a few seconds, though, Dar manages to shake his limb free, quickly lifting Ice up again for the DANGEROUS BACKDROP-NO! ICE COUNTERS INTO A CROSSBODY! Landing on top of Dar, Ice quickly reaches down to hook his leg for the pin. "1...2..." Dar kicks out, the crowd cheering anyway, glad to see the that this match is going to be energetic from the beginning. Both men quickly roll away from one another, but Ice gets back up to his feet while Dar stays on the mat, a little too shocked at that sudden counter to get up right away. Ice doesn't miss his chance, quickly running forward and dropping into a Baseball Slide, connecting solidly with Dar's ribs and sending him out under the bottom rope to the floor. The Samoan is fairly quick up to his feet, but Ice is already coming off the ropes, diving through them with a TOPÉ SUICIDAAAAAAAAA-NO! Dar dodges it, but Ice grabs the ropes at the last second, sending himself flipping over them to land on the apron. The Samoan is caught entirely off-guard from that, allowing Ice to easily fling himself off the apron with a FLYING SIDE KICK TO DAR'S JAW!!!
This quick strike drops Dar to the ground as the crowd rises up in cheers for Ice. Ice manages to land on his feet and wastes no time in taking the fight to the big man stomping him hard in the head again and again before feeling content with the damage he’s done and lifting Grays to his feet. He rolls Darson back into the ring knowing that he needs to be in the ring to be pinned and wastes no time in getting to his feet and nailing a Standing Moonsault right onto Darson Grays before hooking his leg and looking for the pin. 1…2…Dar pushes Ice up and off of him. As if to really show Ice who the bigger man is, Dar literally throws Ice off of him causing the Silver Flame to be thrown a couple feet away. Grays gets to his feet pretty quickly and drops Ice back to the mat as he stands with a big elbow taking control back in the match. To slow down the match even more, Darson places a knee into Ice’s lower back and lifts up on his head hard putting extreme pressure on Ice’s back and neck. Dar locks his hands underneath Ice’s chin pulling up even harder causing the Silver Flame to cry out in pain as the Samoan literally tries to snap him in half. Soon Dar gets bored of this hold and turns around to lock in a double leg Boston Crap. Again Ice cries out as a few members of the crowd start a couple of “Lets go Ice!” chants trying to stir up the spirit of the Silver Flame. Ice hears these and starts clawing his way to the ropes trying to carry the big Samoan with him but Grays holds his ground using his strength advantage to hold Ice in place while he continues to jerk up on his legs. Ice tries a new approach and manages to slip out his right leg from the Samoan’s grasp. He then uses his leg to kick and push Darson off of his other leg and to the mat where ice quickly turns it all around by getting to his feet quickly and nailing a RUNNING KICK TO THE BACK OF DAR’S HEAD!
Dar drops again to the mat, pain surging through his head, as Ice uses this chance to catch a small breather and test out his legs. After a suitable rest, Ice goes back to work catching Darson just as he is coming too and lifting him to his feet before whipping the Samoan hard into the corner. Ice then sprints at Grays hitting him hard in the neck with a rough lariat before leaping up onto the second rope and starting the ten punches! The crowd follows along as Ice lands punch number one, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, GRAYS DESTROYS ICE WITH A POWERBOMB ending the countdown 4 punches early. Dar shakes off the still mind numbing pain in his head and reaches down lifting up Ice by his hair which gets quite a few boos from the crowd. Dar doesn’t care much about the crowd though and proves it by starting his own physical countdown, but instead of punching the Silver Flame, Dar delivers Headbutt after Headbutt to the proud Team GWA member. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, 10 HEADBUTTS drop the Silver Flame to the mat. Grays wastes no time it covering Ice looking to end the match right here 1..2…Ice kicks up. More out of instinct then anything, The Silver Flame manages to get his shoulder up just in time. A closer inspection of his head shows that he’s bleeding a little from the monstrous Headbutts. Dar seems almost happy that ice has gotten up seeing as it gives him more of a chance to cripple the Silver Flame and he intends to do just that as he lifts Ice up and sets up for the FOLDOVER TIGER-ICE COUNTERS WITH A BIG HURRICARANA! As Dar lifted him up, Ice shot his legs out and wrapped them around the head of Grays using the momentum to nail a Hurricarana that sends Grays to the other side of the ring.
Ice quickly gets back to his feet, wiping the blood from his head as he stands, and puts together a new battle plan before approaching the Big Samoan and nailing him with a kick to the back of his knee as he stands up. Dar stumbles a bit allowing Ice to kick him hard in the chest and again in the stomach causing the big man to lean forward holding his gut. Ice takes advantage of this and pulls a play out of Dar’s own handbook. Ice grabs Dar’s head, and smashes it again and again with a half dozen or so BIG KNEES before allowing the Samoan to drop to the mat holding his head. The crowd marks out large for this, seeing Ice use one of Dar’s own tricks to put him down. Ice feeds off of this energy before dropping to the mat and grabbing the Samoan’s head in a headlock trying to squeeze the life out of the big man. Ice doesn’t usually try to slow down the pace of the match but it’s important too keep a man the size of Darson Grays off of his game and the best way to do that is to take away his air. Ice continues to hold onto Darson’s head and at this point Dar is starting to turn a bit red really feeling the lack of oxygen in his lungs. It’s this need that grants him the strength to push him self up to his hands and feet and finally to his knees. Ice has spun around the big man and has him in a sleeper hold now but it’s irrelevant to Grays as he stands to his feet and gives it a second before falling backwards CRUSHING Ice beneath all of his weight and knocking the wind out of him. Together the Veteran and the Rising Star lay on the mat, both trying to get air to their lungs, each one knowing that first one to their feet is going to have control over the match.
In the end, both men get up about the same time - it's only a matter of positioning that gives Dar the advantage, since Ice has gotten to his feet facing away from the Samoan. Dar quickly wraps his arms around the Silver Flame's waist, dumping him back for a HEAD DROP GERMAN SUPLEX! The first head-drop of the match gets the crowd riled up as Dar quickly turns and pushes Ice onto his back for a pin. "1...2..." Ice kicks out, the young superstar more than capable of taking a few knocks. Reaching down, Dar lifts Ice back up to his feet fairly quickly, not wanting to give him a lot of time to recover, knowing how good the rising star is at comebacks. Pushing him back against the ropes, the Samoan unleashes a hard elbow to his jaw, then whips Ice across the ring, reaching down as he comes back and tossing him up at least eight feet in the air with a Gorilla Press Slam! Ice goes flying from the sheer strength of Dar, landing flat on his face on the canvas below, rolling onto his back and clutching his mid-section, kicking his legs in pain. Dar hits a hard stomp to his chest, mocking the crowd and their support for the younger wrestler as he reaches down to lift him back up again. "Let's try it again!" yells Dar as he sends Ice into the ropes once more, reaching down to fling him up for another Gorilla Press Sla-NO! Ice swings his body in mid-air and counters with a Dropkick! Dar goes flipping back over to land face-down, Ice dropping to the mat as the crowd bursts into cheers, knowing that Ice isn't going to be led through the match. Both men get up about the same time, but Ice strikes first, sending a kick into Dar's stomach before reaching down to pull him up off his feet in a Scoop Slam! While Ice doesn't lift Dar up as much as would be normal for this move, the fact that he even got the Samoan up off his feet at all is impressive. The Silver Flame quickly heads for the corner, climbing out onto the apron and up on the turnbuckles as Dar gets to his feet, turning around right into a Missile Dropkick! The aerial attack connects solidly, giving Ice plenty of time to crawl over Dar for a cover. "1...2..." Dar kicks out, but isn't able to throw the rising star like last time.
Ice pulls Dar up to his feet, the Samoan looking troubled, but that expression changing to pain as Ice lays into him with a few kicks towards his chest and side, a kick to the side of the head sending him stumbling back into the corner. Ice quickly follows him, whipping him across the ring and charging towards him with a Yakuza Kick! The strike is very effective, Dar slumping down, his arms draped over the top rope being the only things keeping him on his feet. Ice pulls him out of the corner, tucking his head under his arm and putting him in a Waistlock, pausing for a moment to gather his energy before flexing back into a Northern Lights Suplex! Again, the strength shown by Ice is incredible considering how big his opponent is, the Silver Flame quickly bridging up for a pin. "1...2..." Dar kicks out, shaking his head a bit afterwards, looking rather shocked and frustrated. Ice quickly brings him back up to a vertical base, turning to land a Spin Kick right into Dar's jaw, the Samoan staggered from that, allowing Ice to reach down and lift him up for another hard-fought Scoop Slam. Ice heads toward the corner again, climbing to the turnbuckles and seeing that Darson has stayed down this time. The rising star takes a quick moment to play the crowd, then flips off the top rope into a 450 SPLASH!!! The aerial maneuver gets a big rise out of the crowd and also does quite a bit of damage to the Samoan, Dar jerking violently beneath Ice from the impact, Ice quickly reaching down to hook his leg. "1...2...TH-NO!" Dar kicks out, the near fall even weaker this time. Ice gets up, not seeming to be very worried about that move not getting him the win, instead having a huge smile on his face as he quickly crosses to the opposite side of the ring, crouching down as he waits for Dar to get up...THEN CHARGES WITH THE ICEBERG SPE-NO! DAR LIFTS HIM UP FOR A HOT SHOT!!! Ice's throat comes straight down on the top rope, leaving him clutching his neck and gasping for air as the crowd boos the counter from Dar. The Samoan immediately covers him and hooks his leg, looking for a surprise pin. "1...2...TH-NO!" Ice kicks out, fighting through the shock of his airway being cut off to save the match.
Dar isn't happy about this at all, baring his teeth as he hauls Ice quickly up by his arms, turning the younger wrestler away from him as he crosses the arms around Ice's neck, pulling him back into the HOSTILEPLEX!!! Again, Ice gets dumped roughly on his head, cringing and reaching a hand towards the back of his neck for a few moments before getting rolled onto his back and covered for the pin. "1...2...TH-NO!" Ice kicks out again, tenacity still coursing through the Silver Flame. Dar quickly hauls him back up to his feet again, pushing Ice against the ropes and whipping him across the ring. The Samoan catches him as he comes back, quickly taking him over into a SNAP POWERSLAM!!! The ring shakes from the sheer force of the move, the crowd cringing at the power behind it as Dar hooks Ice's leg again. "1...2...TH-NO!" Ice kicks out once more, refusing to stay down. The Silver Flame rolls over onto his stomach, cringing as he starts to get up, but gets smashed right back down with a Knee Drop to the back of his head! Ice quickly rolls onto his back, holding his head and cringing, but Dar just gives him another Knee Drop, this one connecting with his face. The younger wrestler is pretty dazed after that, allowing Dar to bring him up easily, shoving him into the ropes and whipping him across the ring, coming off the opposite set with a CHARGING ELBOOOOWWWW!!! Ice goes clear off his feet from the power of this strike, landing hard on the canvas as Dar drops down over him for the pin. "1...2...TH-NO!" This time, Ice only gets a shoulder up rather than kicking out, still refusing to give up in this important match. Dar pulls Ice up again, looking very angry at all these near falls, not able to believe that these strikes and power attacks can't take down a smaller wrestler like Ice. Whipping him into the ropes once again, Dar slaps his arm before spinning around into the ROARING ELBOW!!! The move is even more powerful than usual due to Ice running into it, Dar dropping down for another pin. "1...2...TH-NO!" Again, Ice gets a shoulder up.
The crowd is going wild as Ice once again goes against all logic and manages to get his shoulder up after being turned inside out by Dar. The Samoan gets to his feet again dragging up Ice before slapping him hard in the face several times to show that he is by no means impressed by the Silver Flame’s unwillingness to quit. He then whips Ice hard into the ropes waiting for him to come back to grab him by the neck and drill him into the mat with the NODOWA OTOS-ICE COUNTERS WITH A SURPRISE DDT! Out of nowhere, as Grays lifted Ice up into the air, he reached forward and grabbed his head before falling back into a DDT. This surprise move levels Dar long enough for Ice to get a quick breather and get to his feet. Here he hits the ropes and comes back delivering a brutal knee to the gut of Dar as he stands up, doubling him over. Ice then grabs his head and then uses every ounce of strength he has to lift the big man up and nail a Snap Suplex. More of a symbolic move then anything, Ice uses the Suplex to gain a bit of momentum before turning his hips and standing back up lifting Dar with him as goes. He then reaches down and somehow lifts the Samoan up onto his shoulders before spinning him off and nailing the SUB-ZERO CUTTER! Ice wastes no time in turning around and covering Darson hoping that this was enough to but him down. “1…2…THR-NO” Grays gets his shoulder up before the hand can come down a third time proving that one big move from Ice is not going to be enough. Ice seems to take this in stride however, never being the one to get frustrated, and gets up to his feet holding his lower back a bit showing how hard it was for him to hit those moves.
He lifts Dar up and starts a torrent of kicks to his legs and chest trying to wear the big man down even more. The crowd gets louder and louder every time a new kick connects and every time Darson looks close to falling. Instead of falling the Samoan opts to stagger back to get to the ropes where he uses them to brace him self after the barrage of kicks. Ice isn’t going to let this change get away though and he rushes Darson looking to really take advantage of his current state. Grays has this well scouted though and like the veteran he is, he lowers his shoulders and sends Ice toppling over the ropes to crash to the floor below. Darson takes his time and taunts Ice a bit, making fun of him as he gets to his feet on the outside, before hitting the far ropes and coming back to hit a killer Baseball slide to the face of Ice sending him falling back into the metal barricade behind him. Grays doesn’t waste much time in going out and grabbing the Silver Flame after this, smashing his head hard against the barricade before walking him to the ring and sliding him back in. Darson follows him and lifts him up before planting him back into the mat with a big Body Slam. After doing this Dar stomps Ice twice before climbing the nearest turnbuckle, something he doesn’t do very often. He gets to the top of the third turnbuckle and positions him self to land a SENTON BOMB! Despite the crowd’s dislike for him, they can’t help but cheer for the aerial attack from Darson Grays who quickly follows it up with a cover. “1…2…THRE-NO ICE GETS THE SHOULDER UP!” If the crowd approved of the Senton from Grays, they go crazy for the fact that Ice is once again able to defy logic and kick out of another big move from Darson Grays. Dar sits up off of Ice and pounds the canvas hard before lifting Ice up and placing him into a standing head scissors where he crosses his arms and lifts him up onto his shoulders. The Archetypal Assassin holds Ice on his shoulders in a Straightjacket hold of sorts before backing up into the ropes and running forward to kill Ice with the ACHERON BO-ICE SENDS DAR OVER THE ROPES WITH A HURRICARANA .
Out of nowhere, Ice wraps his legs around the Samoan and uses the fact that Dar has him in a Straightjacket hold to peel off and send Dar flying over the top rope and to the floor below. The crowd MARKS OUT for this, all too common, comeback out of nowhere from the Silver Flame. Ice himself however seems to be a bit less enthusiastic about the whole thing as he stands to his feet holding his abdomen in pain. The Senton must have done its job seeing as Ice can hardly stand without holding onto the ropes for support. He manages to stumble over to the opposite side of the ring from where Darson is on the outside to catch a breather. His breather is cut short however by Grays who gets to his feet on the outside. Grays holds his head for a second before shaking off the pain from pretty much landing on his head and rolls into the ring, standing up and getting killed by an ICEBERG SPEAR OUT OF NOWHERE! Darson is driven to the ground hard by Ice who saw his one chance and took it drilling the Veteran into the mat. Screams of “Pin that b*****d” rain out from the crowd but Ice can’t seem to bring him self to roll over Grays as he is too busy holding his abdomen in pain. The spear managed to drop Darson to the mat, but it also shook Ice’s body as well. Ice rolls over and again pulls him self to his feet using the ropes for support before coming to the conclusion that he has to finish the match here. Ice manages to make his way over to Darson and lifts him up before placing him in a standing head scissors and making a rolling motion with his hands. The crowd cheers in approval knowing what is about to come as Ice braces him self for the big move to finish the match.
It seems the dream of GWA fans everywhere is about to come true, as Ice rolls over Dar's back to bring him down with the ZERO DRIVAAAAAAHHHHH-NOOO!!! Dar stops the move as he's pulled vertical, grabbing Ice around the head to stop him from rolling any farther, locking his legs with the other arm. From here, he quickly bends down and lifts Ice up onto his shoulders in a Fireman's Carry, the Silver Flame practically helpless in this situation, unable to break Dar's strong grip. The crowd looks very worried at this point, remembering how Dar's last match with Twist ended, knowing this was the same set-up - but Dar doesn't seem to be willing to use such an important move on the younger wrestler, instead just hooking one of his legs and dropping to the side with a CRADLE DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!!! While not as powerful as Dar's ultimate finisher, Ice still is in mighty trouble after this move, dropping over onto his back as Dar quickly crawls over him for a pin. "1...2...TH-NO!" Ice gets a shoulder up, allowing the crowd to breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that the match isn't over just yet. Whatever relief the crowd is feeling is met with the opposite by Dar, whose angered expression is brought out more by the sweaty strands of hair around his face. As Ice starts to get to his feet, Dar quickly grabs his head and pulls him up the rest of the way, bringing him right into a Standing Head Scissors and hooking both his arms, rolling him up into the FOLDOVER TIGERBOMB!!! "1...2...TH-NO!" Ice kicks out, but Dar rolls it over straight into the BOSTON CRAB WITH SUPER SAMOAN CRANK!!! Ice cries out in pain as his spine gets curved into a near-C shape from the strength of the Samoan, sitting back and locking the move in tightly. Ice's entire mid-section is burning in pain now, but the Silver Flame refuses to give up, seeing that he's not too far from the ropes. Dar doesn't seem to notice this, though, too angry at the repeated near falls to pay attention to anything other than making the hold as painful as possible. Slowly, Ice drags himself that last foot towards the ropes, his hand lingering above the mat a few times, but he fights it off, finally reaching out and grasping the bottom rope, holding on for dear life.
Dar seems shocked by this rope break, enough that he doesn't even attempt to hold onto it any longer, just standing up to turn around and look down at Ice, slowly shaking his head. Reaching down, he hauls Ice up by his hair, once again sending him into the ropes, coming off the opposite set with a LARIATOOOOOOOOOO!!! Ice goes flying off his feet into a backflip, landing hard on the mat as Dar drops to his knees beside him, breathing heavily for a moment before he rolls the Silver Flame onto his back for a pin. "1...2...TH-NOOO!!!" Another shoulder up, denying Dar the victory. The Samoan slowly pulls Ice back up again, seeming to have a better idea on his mind this time, whipping Ice into the ropes and slapping his forearm, coming off the opposite set with a CHARGING ELBOOOOOWWWW!!! This is the second time Ice has been hit with that strike in the match, and it's just as effective as last time, sending him flying off his feet to crash down into the canvas. Dar quickly drops over him right after hitting the move, wanting to get the win with this one. "1...2...THR-NOOOO!!!" Though even closer to a three count than any of the near falls before it, Ice still manages to get a shoulder up in time. Dar looks towards the ref, arguing with him for a few moments, but can't change the official's mind. Ice seems almost as surprised as Dar, that look on his face as he rolls over onto his stomach, trying to clear his head and get back into the match. Dar doesn't give him much time, though, quickly pulling him up once again, pounding an elbow into his jaw before sending him into the corner, Ice cringing as pain shoots through his mid-section once again upon contact with the turnbuckles. Dar swings his arm out and charges forward again, slamming Ice with another LARIATOOOOOOOOO into the corner! Ice drops down, his arms wrapped around the middle ropes, hanging his head in fatigue and pain now. Dar shows no mercy, tearing him out of the corner and turning him around, tucking his head beneath his arm and bringing him back for the DANGEROUS BACKDROPPAAAAAAAHHHHH-NOOO!!! ICE KICKS UP THE TURNBUCKLES AND FLIPS BACK INTO A REVERSE DDT!!!
Another one of those miraculous comebacks brings the crowd to their feet, cheering wildly for Ice as Dar rolls over towards the side of the ring, clutching his head in pain. The Silver Flame can't follow up with a pin right away, needing this time to recover. Instead, Ice just waits for Dar to get to his feet before he gets up, quickly going on the offensive as he hits a Spinning Mule Kick right into Dar's abdomen, doubling him over in pain. Ice quickly pulls one of Dar's arms down into a wrist-clutch position, taking a deep breath before crying out in exertion as he lifts him up into the CRYSTAL SMAAAAAASH!!! Dar's own weight works against him with this move, all two hundred ninety pounds crashing into the mat directly on his head and neck, the crowd up on their feet and screaming for Ice to pin him. The Silver Flame doesn't disappoint, crawling as fast as he can over Dar to hook his leg. "1...2...THR-NOOO!!!" Dar kicks out, the Samoan as always being able to take incredible punishment. Still, though, the move was obviously effective - Dar clutches his neck in pain, rocking back and forth on the mat as he tries to clear it up enough to focus. Ice doesn't look deterred, just tired from how taxing this match has been on him, getting up on his knees and pushing his hair out of his face, looking out towards the crowd with a smile as they begin to chant for him. Ice brings Dar to his feet this time, pulling him into another Standing Head Scissors, looking around at the crowd before making that rolling motion with his hands once again. The crowd is immediately up on their feet as Ice wraps his arms around Dar's waist, flipping over him into the ZERO DRIVAAAAAHHHH-NOOO!!! Again, Dar stops the move before it can be fully executed, but just barely this time - falling back from the momentum to crush Ice beneath him! This certainly isn't helping the pain in the Silver Flame's abdomen, Dar quickly hooking Ice's legs and bridging up for a pin. "1...2...THR-NOOO!!!" Ice just barely kicks out, the crowd letting out their shared breaths, having thought that might have been the end.
Both men don't seem to be doing too well as they get to their feet, this high-impact match having taken its toll. But Dar wins out on the grace of not having had the last move done to him, quickly booting Ice in the stomach and whipping him into the corner. The Samoan charges after him, but Ice jumps up on the middle turnbuckle as he reaches it, jumping off and turning in the air for a TWISTING CROSS-BODY-NOOO!!! DAR KNOCKS HIM OUT OF THE AIR WITH AN ELBOOOWWW!!! Unfortunately for Dar, he connected with Ice's shoulder, a very hard spot that leaves his arm with a lot of pain - especially bad considering that the last two matches he's been in have been focused offensively against his arm. And luckily for Ice, the shot to his shoulder was only enough to keep him from hitting the move, the glancing blow not enough to keep him down long. Still, he uses the ropes to help him to his feet as Dar does the same, holding his elbow and cringing. Ice stays crouched against the ropes, looking away from Dar as he cocks his arm again, not seeing Dar as he runs forward for the final CHARGING ELBOOOOO-NOOOO!!! ICE LASHES OUT WITH THE ARCTIC FLASH!!! The crowd fills the arena with cheers as Dar goes down, realizing now that Ice had been playing possum, allowing him to hit that surprise superkick without fear of a counter from Dar. The Silver Flame leans back against the ropes, taking a few moments to catch his breath and waiting for Dar to get back up, seeming to recognize that it still wouldn't be enough for a pin. The Samoan gets to one knee, looking towards the crowd for a moment before turning around to be met with the sight of Ice charging forward at him with a SECOND ICEBERG SPEEEEEER!!! The Silver FLame blows Dar right back down to the mat, the crowd not even bothering to sit down after this one, cheering wildly for Ice as he rolls off of the Samoan, holding his mid-section again, the move still having done a bit of damage to him as well.
Because of this, Ice decides not to go for the pin immediately again, instead dragging Dar out towards the middle of the ring as he starts to get up, pushing him into a kneeling position and suddenly laying into him with a KICK FLURRY! The crowd's cheers grow even louder as Ice unleashes the vicious strikes into Dar's chest and ribs, eventually moving up to his head, throwing two of the hard kicks into it before slamming his hands down on the mat and turning for a SPIN KICK INTO DAR'S TEMPLE!!! The Samoan slowly tips over onto the mat like a fallen tree, Ice bending over and taking several deep breaths, having spent a lot of energy on those kicks. It seems he still has enough in the tank for one more move, though, holding up one arm in the air and yelling "DAI GUREN HYORINMARU DRIVER!!!" Amidst the resounding cheers of the crowd, Ice pulls Dar up to his feet, quickly reaching down to grab his legs and set him up for the move, standing up right into the DAI GUREN HYORINMARU DRIVAAAAHHHHH-NOOO!!! Ice loses his balance from the sheer weight of Dar, stumbling back a few steps before attempting to straighten up. Unfortunately, this gives Dar just enough time to get his mind cleared, rolling forward and pulling Ice down into a SUNSET FLIP!!! "1...2...THR-NO!" Ice kicks out, rolling up to his feet and coming off the ropes as Dar stands up for the DIAMOND STOOOOORRRMMM-NOOO!!! Dar turns with the move, wrapping his arms around Ice and rolling him up onto one shoulder, quickly pulling him down across his body into the X-DRILLAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!! The crowd immediately begins to boo and jeer as Dar drops down over Ice for the pin. "1...2...THREE!!!"
Dar slowly rolls off of Ice, laying on his back and looking up towards the lights, slowly shaking his head and running his hands back through his hair. The Samoan seems shaken, as if he just narrowly avoided a disaster - and indeed, if it weren't for Ice having lost his balance, his last finisher would've no doubt ended the match.
Roselyn: "Here is your winner...DARSON GRAYS!!!"
Slowly, Dar gets up to his feet, looking down at Ice, who still seems too dazed to move much after that last finisher. Despite winning the match, there seems to be a strange look in the Samoan's eyes - one almost resembling fear. Shaking his head, Dar quickly looks away from the Silver Flame and rolls out of the ring, not bothering to taunt the crowd or anything as he makes his way back up towards the curtains, looking deeply troubled. Meanwhile, Ice slowly brings himself to a vertical base, looking out at the crowd for a few moments, seeming disappointed in not being able to get a win for them. The crowd seems plenty happy with the Silver Flame's performance, though, cheering loudly for him and chanting his name as he starts to exit the ring. Ice smiles a little at this, rubbing the back of his neck and taking a quick walk around the ring to high-five the fans, heading back up the aisle with his head held high.
