i just recently got the movie... finally.

i thought it was kind of sad... there wasn't enough funny moments. but still, pretty good ^_^

yea, i disliked the ending, but i liked it more the second time i watched it. the first time i watched it i was immensely disappointed by the end, but like i said, after watching it again, i felt a lot better about the end. i dont know why.... *shrug* but i still love the movie, it was still awesome ^-^

ROFL:
- I was so confused at first by the movie since I thought Ed had real limbs at first until I realized they were two different colours. Is that kind of technology possible when the prosthetics are inferior to those used in Amestris?
- Ed needs to braid his hair. (Yes?)
- I was sooo happy when Al had a haircut at the end of the movie.
- OMFG, I thought Ed was so emo throughout the whole movie. It was extremely depressing. And the colours in the whole movie, if anyone noticed, were muted. And dry. And OLD-looking. All in all I felt sad watching it.
- No fluff. That KILLED me. SO MUCH. Because if you've been to dA or fanart websites and seen all of those ADORABLE reunion-esque pictures and have been looking forward to that moment since you started watching the anime or reading the manga or WHATEVER, you just expect so much more! <-- I made that white since it's pretty much a spoiler. Though I suspect if you're reading this thread, it's because you've seen the movie already.
- Roy + Eyepatch = DEPTH PERCEPTION MISHAPS. Have any of you read this one fanfic about Roy talking like a pirate due to the eyepatch?! It's soo amusing. Roy was pretty emo in the movie, too. I DUNNO.
- To whoever said that they felt better about the ending when they watched it the second time, I agree. I also found the music to be catchier. I mean, it wasn't necessarily a bad movie at all. (And I was still " heart ED heart " throughout the whole thing despite his emoness.
- Heiderich should not have died; that was unjust.
- Ed's call out to alter!Hughes at the end of the movie, that he should "go on and ask her out already" or something, was too cute for words.
*squee*
Uh. I've said more here than everyone combined. o_O; HEHE. And I didn't even post on how much I love Ed! (Until now.)
