Kemarie brought up a good suggestion so I want to poll you guys and see what you think. Would anyone be interested in doing a Book of the Month kind of thing? The idea would be for us all to vote on a book, start on it at the beginning of the month and discuss it as we go. We would need to decide on which books to choose but my suggestion would be to go with something like the Banned Books list or the 100 Best Books list. It's a wide variety of choices and would keep us busy for quite awhile. If the idea takes off I can buy a sub-forum to house the archived threads. That way we can do a new thread each month instead of having one long-assed confusing thread. And to make it more interesting I'm thinking about some kind of contest involving Sealed's, maybe for the person that is most actively involved in the month's discussion?
Okay, I will now open the floor to voting and suggestions. Let me know what you think 3nodding

Sounds awesome! I'm quite busy with schoolwork, so I may not be able to participate every month, but definitely count me in!

Hmm....we haven't had very many response for this. That could also be because we don't have very many regular posters. I like this idea but I want to see more people show interest before we insitute it. I have a packed schedule for Book Fetish so I want to make sure it's worth the trouble before we all decide to do this. Don't fail me now people!!

love the idea, but I'm not on often enough to be in. Between the baby, work, and everything else, I usually have the choice to read OR get online at night...

I'll keep this thread up for awhile and see how many more responses we get. I'd like to have at least 10 before we jump into it. Plus it would require people to purchase a new book each month and while that may not be a hardship for everyone, for some it might be. I'll keep watching this thread though and see how it goes 3nodding

Could always pick one that you are currently reading, as long as its in print anyways. lol But either way, as long as you alternate genres between months, it shouldn't be a prob.

*gasp* Book of the month? That's a fabulous idea! I have so much trouble finding new books to read. This would help me in my English class as well (which requires me to have a book of my chioce to read).
