I'm hoping you all have your zombie survival guides out, because this is a little long to type up (I can do it, though.)

It's pages 138-153.

Which techniques would you personally attempt? I wouldn't use anything with a car, since they're so unreliable once you run out of gas. I personally think the Tower would work, since safety is more likely, and it's the zombies are coing to you.

But how a hunting technique i would lure the zombies in with some cow meat or something,i would get in a really good hiding spot(Possibly in a window,top of the house or if i were in woods i would hide under some under growth,under some large roots and just cover me and my silenced sniper in leaves,grass and mud and wait for the smell to lure zombies then i shoot them in the heads.

It's almost painfully obvious you haven't read it. Here's a brief summary: zombies don't rely only on sight to hunt. Therefore you hiding wouldn't do squat. They can pick out a smell of living flesh very well. They won't dismiss any noise. They don't eat dead flesh, hence them not eating each other. If they would be attracted to anything it would be you scuffling about hiding yourself. Hunting tactics we're talking about:
Tower: go up a tower and snipe the Zacks (World War Z slang term for zombie) while they try to get to you.
Crap can't find the book. The rest are from memory. Armoured car one: Forgot the name but you take an armoured car of some sort, make noise inside it, shoot at all zombies through slits in sides.
Follow the leader: take car/truck, drive slowly so zach can follow, shoot all zacks following
stampede: bunch of cars side by side running zacks over, guys follow behind to shoot survivors
lure: caged animal of loud variety, snipe zacks that come close. You have to be up high.

And a chainsaw?? read the book. "I'm gonna kill you all!!!! Oh no, no more gas. Gotta re-fill, all you zombies wait a minute. I SAID WAIT!!!" *smacking zack with dead chainsaw* "GIVE ME TIME!!" Deathtoll before gas ran out: 36 deathtoll after: only yourself

How do you hunt zombies? Think about how you hunt other animals and you have the answer, traps, bait, guns. Since zombies are prity dumb you could make a prity good trap, by having some one hang out in some thing like a shark cage, over a street, or some thing similar, sit there with a good and high observation post, have the cage on a pully system so you can move it up and down, and hang it just out of reach of the zombies. Unless they are smarter then your average zombie they will probably walk/run, right up to it, and you can get a good shot. If you don't have a friend, get some smelly old cloths, dress up a maniquen, and try to get it to smell and look as much like a human as possible, hope that it works.

ninja First off you shouldn't "hunt" zombies because there should be billions of them out there burning_eyes
second i'm realy thinking they (if befor they die) are able to adapt or evolve though rapid cell regeneration ...they could become water creatures or nocturnal...although flying would be near to imposable because all of their bones would have to be hollow confused

Ok i have 5 friends who know how to shoot and have read the book. so i would use the roman tactic of making a 5 foot deep ditch line surrounding a room with 2 foot fireproof walls put pitch in the ditch and set it aflame and me and my friends using carbines (my friend's father works for the military he coud hook us up with some) and kill the evil ones

im going to lure them into a deep pit.. then throw a grenade or use a flamethrower
