I recently spent the night with my best friend at her house. This isn't the first time and it won't be the last.
Well, whenever we decide to go to bed, I crawl in first and then make her turn off the light and make her way to the bed. Her room is small, and it's very dark, the only thing being seen is the red light from her TV power button.
This night was no different, but instead of me making her turn off the light, she had me turn on the side lamp for the first time ever until she got into bed. She slept with her head at the foot of the bed and we usually sleep like a yin/yang with my head at the head of the bed.
I noticed that the room was actually light, I could see the TV and computer and even her, only seconds after I turned the lamp off. I then realized what was different, her blinds were open. I mean, I could see the outside lamp and the actual sky and snow.
My friend never has her blinds open, especially at night and she told me that no one opened them. I turned on the light and looked, and sure enough, they were closed. I couldn't see outside of them at all. We did another test like that and the same thing happened.
We are both twenty, and we slept with the TV on.
She also told me that the night before the same thing happened when she was alone. She also slept with the TV on.
I guess I should mention that not too long ago we played with the ouija board (we did that day too, though we just got this annoying spirit that kept going ANANANANANAN, etc.) and since then, I haven't been able to sleep in my room a whole night without some sort of light source on. Whenever I turn it off, I get a feeling of dread and have to turn my lamp on.
The worse part of this is...I know it's my overactive imagination that's doing this. What else could it be?
