Lorenzo the Magnificent was a historical figure famed in art history for propelling the renasaunce by wielding imense social power to protect artists from herasy charges, and by building a 12 block palace in which he gathered the best and the brighest artists, philosophers, mathematisions, and schollers. the point of all this being that they could then comunicate and discuss their work, speeding up the development of art exponensialy. he also maintained the first ublic librairy to be built in centuries (built by his father.) his proper name was Lorenzo Medicci
