Well what else am I supposed to do? Lay there and let myself die? Anyone else would be having an out-of body experience under those circumstances, I'm sure.
The reflectra... was intuitive. Instinctive. Subconscious. In other words, the magic she cast was done in the same manner as putting up your hands in front of your face when you see a rock coming at your head. I never cast any spell other than reflectra. After the sheild gets put down, I'll continue casting magic to an extent.
Edit: Sending magic back your way was better on my part than just letting it hit me. I know lightning would cure you; I'm not stupid. But hell, the way this battle's going, it probably wouldn't make much of a difference.
Oh, and Zanza, don't talk about things someone else did unless they actually do it.

after running and dougeing for several minuts, zanza was finaly ignored by the beast. he jumped onto a near by wall and faced to beast. he had to time this perfectly or he would most sertainly miss. "The beast" you spoke of NEVER ONCE said he ignored you or even blinked for a fraction of a second! (See above post from Chephros)
