TABFive hundred years ago, the lands on both sides of the Great Ocean were ravaged by war. Among the Old Kingdoms, the Southlands were virtually destroyed when the demon hordes summoned by the Warlord sundered the Sunspire, while in Kereeque, the Imperial Brylin Army routed the Ikender militia, razing the city to the ground, before the Imperial Brylin Navy was soundly defeated by the fledgling Brightstone navy. For twenty years, the Great War raged, ending only when all combatants were two weary to continue.
TABIn the centuries since, the war-ravaged countries have rebuilt, now with Brightstone as the dominant nation, having a near-stranglehold over most sea traffic, and all trade in Kereeque. Additionally, mages have noted that, since the destruction of the Sunspire, their power has slowly waned. What stories say that even the most novice mages could achieve before the Great War, now can only be done with an Archmage. Brightstone, which was once the shining pinnacle of prosperity and equality, is now a cesspool of corruption, cruelty, and slavery.

Rules
1: No godmodding, aimbotting, puppetmastering, etc. In other words, use common sense as to what your character would be able to achieve.
2: Keeping that in mind, I'm more likely to let a Hollywood pass if the post is well thoughtout and easily readable.
3: In other words, no chatspeak. This is a literate roleplay.
4: Despite being a fantasy roleplay, phyisics are present. If you don't want to deal with real-world physics, don't join.
5: Use of magic is tiring. Over-use of magic can be fatal
6: Send the member application to me via PM with "5HYL Application" as the title. Posting it will result in it being ignored, and you being banned from membership.
7: Unless you are on the member list, do not post in context.
8: Any questions regarding the setting should also be directed to me via PM
9: More rules may be added as needed.
