Zora Emporium
Welcome to the Zora Emporium! Here, you will find a large mall filled with items and the such. Weapons, jobs, and many more await! This shop is run by a single board of directors after being sold from a sole proprieter. It is, however, being controlled by King Zora, in terms of monopoly. So don't worry!
There are beautiful waterfalls everywhere you turn, and the walls, ceiling and floor are made of pure granite. It is quite a sight. The lights come from torches lined along the wall in fancy torch holders. The doors are made of either fish bones or seaweed, and, suprisingly, are very durable.

Rednal calmly strode into the area. He knew exactly what he wanted, and headed over to the clothing department. Trying on several sizes of the Blue Tunics, he eventually settled on one of them and brought it to the counter. Dishing out 300 rupee's to the grinning clerk, the boy headed into a changing room and put the tunic on under his normal outfit. With that, he cracked his neck and walked outside again. Water was no longer a problem.

Max entered the Zora Emporium only seconds after Rednal made his leave. Taking out his wallet, he poured a Silver Rupee out of it. Handing it to the clerk, he exchanged it for a Longbow. Receiving 85 Rupees in exchange, he put the change in his wallet, and put his Longbow away.
"Heheh... Thanks, Johnson, old buddy..." Max gave a devilish grin and walked away.

Rednal watched as Max exited the Zora shop, carrying a Longbow on his back. "Well, well, that's a new way to hunt fish..." Rednal said quietly, moderately successful at hiding a grin. "No fancy outfit to wear?" Idly, he wondered if Max was planning to go BACK to Johnson's place. He doubted it, though, not this soon.

"Nahh. Nice tunic, though." Max noted, looking at Rednal's new Blue Tunic. "I would've bought one, but I'm a bit short on funds. It's what I'm buying next." Max grinned. "Unless I find something better."
"So, Priest, what are you up to?" Max asked. He almost forgot to tell him about the Tome, but it could wait. It may be really exciting, but its worth the suspense to see the look on his face when Max tells him.

Rednal shrugged. "Fits well enough under what I have now." he replied. "As for better, unless they have magic pendants that do the same thing... good luck with that." he stretched. "I was planning to drop by the local church. Non-Hylian people tend to be more understanding than fat, greedy priests, after all. And I could use some water spells."

"Mmh. Most are. But don't get prejudiced. Some Zoras can be fat, greedy priests too." Max sighed, then warmed back up again. "And I found out what the Tome was." Max started.
--Take this moment to pretend Max explained everything he heard from his mother, which you probably already read--
"... And that's all we know." Max sniffed.

There was a cough from behind Rednal and Max a few moments later, and the owner of the Emporium stepped out. "I, ah, couldn't help but overhear that one of you is a little short on funds. You seem to be warriors, so I have a proposition for you." Rednal blinked.
"Go on." he said.
"My, ah, warehouse has recently become infested by a variety of, ah, vermin. I would take the foul creatures out myself, but unfortunately, they are a little, ah, large. I will pay well for their elimination... say... one hundred rupee's each?"

((100 Rupees? You dog, you. That's just what I need. I was actually thinking of buying a Razor Sword instead, once I find out which shop to put them in, anyway...))
"I'll do it. Now tell me, what exactly are we hunting for again?" Max shook his head. I got myself into this mess. I can't exactly get out now, especially when this guy needs me. Damn Rednal's too-nice-nature...

Rednal sighed. "Can't let him go alone... besides, we'll probably need to dive." he grumbled. The shop owner rubbed his hands together nervously.
"There is, ah, an infestation of Tektites. Water spiders, large ones. Their leader is a rare golden one, however, no bigger than the others, but much more durable. It is quite dangerous, but warriors such as yourselves can handle it well, yes?"

"Pfft. Of course we can. Just tell us where to go." Max said, completely relaxed. "Heheh, by the way, can you give me a small discount on that Blue Tunic? Let's say... 300 Rupees?" Max chuckled softly. He was half kidding, half serious.

"I don't need your help that much." the Zora replied, frowning. "This is still a business." he indicated a small door set against the wall of the shop. "Down there is the warehouse... and the beasts. Bring the golden one to me to recieve your pay." Rednal shrugged, went over to the door, and slipped inside.

Following Rednal and sticking his tounge out at the Zora when he wasn't looking, Max followed Rednal down the staircase.

Walking in the front door, Max looked at the many shelves and wares in the different departments, and remember the last time he was here. He was with Rednal, his old Hylian Priest friend, whom had spent a whopping 300 Rupees on a Blue Tunic while Max bought a Longbow for himself. "Well... The prices have raised. Good thing I got this bow when it was still cheap."
Max walked over to the Magic Tomes department. "And this place was in construction last time I was here. So much has changed..." He looked at the copies of the tomes on display, and then their descriptions. "Zoran Shield, huh? You can bring up one of those electrical energy shields... Nice." He picked up the small tome and brought it to the counter.
"Hey, Max." The young Zora teenager at the counter said. "Buying that magic tome?" After receiving a nod from Max, she said. "Y'know, despite its high price, it's actually on sale. Two-hundred Rupees, please?"
"Yup, sure." Max reached into his wallet and dumped out a huge chunk of his gem currency on the counter. He handed her 200 Rupees and put the rest away back into his wallet, then took the tome back. "Yup, just read the instructions. After practicing it, you can use it whenver you want."

Justin walked into the shop behind Max, looking around at the various weapons and items on the many shelves surrounding the walls of the Emporium. It was an outstanding site, a lot larger than any Castle town market shops. As soon as he walked inside he could tell that their was absolutely nothing fancy that he could afford, maybe a few bombs or so but that was it. He looked toward Max and noticed that he was taking interest in the 'Magic Tomes Department', so once he left the stand Justin walked over.
The spells in the department were amazing and very interesting, different types and effects of each. The spell that really lured him in was Bolt. He looked at the price and saw that it was too expensive, he needed 140 rupees but only had 77. "Damn, too expensive" he sighed and turned away.
He walked toward the counter where Max was paying for his spell, tapping his shoulder. "So, Where to next?"
