"GET BAACK HEEEERRRE!"
The brown juvenile yelled off after SOMETHING as he went running through the pridal lands in a rush. What was he chasing? Well... quite simply. An insect.
Said incest made a landing, and Nitesh flattened himself to the ground, watching it with wide eyes while doing his best to be sneaky and crawl up behind it to pounce.
"RAAAR!" he yelled as he lept into the air to pounce his prey, but, before he could land, the bug started to fly off again, causing him to land, and start chasing it again. It was a horribly vicious cycle, to say the least.
And it left Nitesh running in CIRCLES, it seemed, around the pride. He wasn't getting -anywhere-. COMPLAIN!
Finally, his 'prey' escaped from him, causing the exhausted male to collapse in the middle of everywhere. "... Tired...."

Suddenly there was giggling from the near-by ferns. Then a pair of sky blue eyes appeared. "Hehehe!" They were gone again and then there was a snapping of twigs, rustling of branches, and a red and black cub pounced out onto the ground near the juvenile. She landed with a flop that sent her rolling, though when she stopped she simply perked back up with a bright smile on her maw, her eyes twinkling. "Hello!" she chimed brightly.

Nitesh's head lifted up a bit at the sound of laughter, his ears flattening back a bit. Was the insect in the bushes with all of his friends laughing it up at him? The juvenile stared back at the pair of blue eyes that appeared with his own cloudy-colored pair. Dear =LORD=. If -that- was a bug, it sure was big!
.. And loud.
He winced a bit at all the cracking and snapping noises that were made, and he nearly flew backwards when Shula made her dramatic appearance. But she wasn't a bug, he'd discovered, and relaxed.
Way to give him a heart-attack!
".... Hullo." he greeted back with a lesser degree of enthusiasm, eyes wide.

"You're fast!" She chirped with a cute smile, "You almost caught that bug and he was really really fast too! It was so cool!" She sat down, her energy, which wasn't overbearing, giving her a charm in her attentiveness. "I'm Shula!" she said with a swish of her tail, managing to keep still despite herself. She hadn't met any other young pride members besides her sister yet...so she was excited! "Who're you?" she asked curiously, her bright expression remaining.

Great! I was being -watched- He sulked mentally, sitting up. Nitesh slouched, so his head we sort of 'hung' below his shoulders with his bad posture, but he listened to her excited speech with a sort of interest.
"Shula? That's a different name." he repeated and commented. Nitesh wasn't sure if he liked her name or whatever he thought about it. Then again, he was a boy. He probably didn't even really care.
However, he was given cue to introduce himself. -THAT- was always exciting, wasn't it?
"Me? I'm Nitesh."

"Nice to meet you, Nitesh!" Shula giggled, unaware of how he might dislike her name. She really didn't notice...and probably wouldn't care. She was happy, after all. Father had always taught her to be polite, but she couldn't help herself. She was excited and he looked so fun..."Do you want to play?" she asked, her eyes sparkling hopefully. It wasn't nearly as fun to play alone as it was to play with someone else...and he was bigger, so he must know tons of fun games!

He was starting to get this sort of vague idea that as a lion got older, their amount of energy to use went down.... a lot. Because she said 'play' and his muscles went 'WE'RE TIRED' in complaint.
But not his head.
"Play?" he pipped, head lifting up from it's slouched position. The brown lion grinned widely at the suggestion. Playing might have been fun! Funner than chasing that bug, at least.
"I'd -love- to play! Did you have anything in mind, or..?" he drifted off, wondering if -he- needed to produce a game from the back of his head. There were a couple back in there, so he'd -probably- be able to produce -something-, to say the least.

"Whatever you want to play," she said with a bright smile that let her eyes close momentarily, "Though I can pick if you want!" She was very flexable, very willing to adapt to the needs of others, just like her father. She was sweet and it seemed very likely she'd grow up to be just as social as Mteuli. Like father like daughter, right? She got onto her paws with a small bounce, having control of her energy that was surprising for one so young.

Nitesh rubbed the side of his head with a paw and thought for a minute. Well, there was always hide and seek, or tag, or..... what else WAS there to play?
"Well.. do you know anything besides Tag or Hide and Seek? 'cause that's all I'm coming up with right now." he admitted sheepishly. It was right then that Nitesh realized that he was REALLY boring. Curses.
When Shula rose/bounced to her feet, Nitesh also got up, grinning.
"I can always think of something else if you want, too!" he added.

"Uh...that game where you have to look for things...uh...scavenger hunting?" Shula suggested thoughtfully, "Or...we could go exploring...or swimming....or tree climbing!..." There was so much to do, she didn't know what to pick! Anything would be really fun, so it really didn't matter. "I don't know, you pick!" She said with a grin as she bounced on the balls of her feet. She was up to whatever and would enjoy herself regardless.

Oooooh. She had all SORTS of ideas!
Nitesh was -very- impressed, to say the least. He thought over everything the cub had suggested with a serious face (or as 'serious' as he was able to manage. Which wasn't very, might he have added. ) before grinning. "I know lotsa places we can go 'ploring in!" Nitesh finally chimed, also starting to bounce to an extent.
"And then if we get tired of that, we can do somethin' else!" he added.

"Ok!" Shula chimed, pleased with his choice. Though any of the other games would have been just as fun, of course. But the neat thing about exploring was every little detail was fun, was an adventure! And Shula looooved adventures! "You can lead the way!" she said with a bounce and an excited thrash of her tail, her blue eyes sparkling in delight.

Internally, Nitesh beamed in pride at being declared the leader of their little band (of two.. o_O). Afterall, Nitesh was hardly EVER the leader in anything. Except with his family stuff. But that was only because he knew were stuff was or because he wasn't blind (In fact, he still didn't understand why that made his brother so special).
"Alrighty!" he chimed loudly, tail flicking from side to side, before he paused, pondering in what general direction to go.
"Let's go to the jungle.. there's -lots- of stuff in there, and it changes every time I go in~" he beamed, grinning, starting to bound off ahead of his new friend towards his declared destination.
