number_17 metallica over here mrgreen and testament, gravedigger are really cool too. same goes for me... and the things like slayer sodom kreator and stuff are not really my favorite bands...they all sound too much alike in my eyes

A lot of them have similar sounds, yes, but they are good sounds. They are not my favorites, but I like them. I understand completely where you are coming from.

Wha?!?!?! How can you not love the thrash vocals?!?!?! What about Hetfield's vocals? And Anthrax, that guy can sing, I love the Madhouse vocals. Even Mustaine has a voice.

Even Mustaine has a voice. i wasn't talking about metallica or megadeth. they are really soft trash. but if i love to the "real" thrash, like bands as: sodom, kreator and slayer. then i don't can say anymore that i like the vocals. and things as overkill don't turn me on as well. to bad because i love most riffs from all these bands above 3nodding

Get over the vocals then. I love Death Metal, so those vocals are still soft as hell. I love Sodom's vocals, and Slayer and all of the aforementioned. For the record, I can understand the lyrics of thrash, black, and Death metal. I hath good ears. Legion Cross, otherwise known as Matt, can understand Hardcore. That's extreme.

there is not much difference between thrash and death vocals.
but those vocals are really something for death.
or i mean, i like them in death metal much more 3nodding

Yeah, but death can still get much, much heavier. And a lot of death incorporates a shriek every now and then.
