This thread is to discuss the bands of the NWOBHM. Bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Def Leppard. These are the bands that influenced almost every other band out there.
My favorite artists of the NWOBHM are Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Motor Head, and AC/DC (not British but still considered part of the NWOBHM.)
The greatest album of all time: Powerslave. If you disagree, go stick your head in the fire. Okay, just discuss it here, I guess I'll be open to here what you have to say...

New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Late 70's, Early 80's bands, Priest, Maiden, Def Leppard, and they don't have to be British, but all of them are, it is a subgenre, but regularly is just "normal Metal"

I'm not sure, they are Swedish I believe, but I think they are. I have heard the name associated with NWOBHM before, but I don't know. NWOBHM is mainly, like I said, Maiden, Priest, Motorhead, Diamond Head, Def Lepard, all that stuff.

Yeah, I thought so, but I would say yes they are, because they were playing during that era, and they were not Hair Metal, so I would say yes.
When? When? When? I might see them again this year, I think they are coming around again, with 2 dates in California.

You lucky sonuvabitch! This year I REALLY want to see them again, Priest, Metallica, DragonForce, and Ozzy. He's comin' out with a new album, And so are all the above, except for DragonForce and Maiden... Priest's new album is based on the life and predictions of Nostradamus.

Why Priest? I wanna go I wanna go!!! I heard DragonForce starts the show sober and lines up about 20 beers and by the end of the show they are missing notes and obviously not sober.

Wow, are you sure it wasn't vodka, because that wouldn't surprise me. On youtube, I don't think I've seen one video of them sober.
