The small ship exited hyperspace with a bright flash. "Where are we?" Ninerasked no one in particular. "We made a blind jump, sarge. we could be anywhere", Atin replied. Darman rolled his shoulders, and looked at the sensor screen in front of him,"We have a contact, unknown, but fairly large. Bearing 85 degrees to starboard." He looked out the transparisteel along with the rest of the squad. A large bulbous Covenant ship lurked in the distance. Lines along the surface began to glow and Darman looked back at the sensor display."Sarge! They're powering up weapons." Niner shouted to Atin," There's no weapons on this ship. Get us out of here now!" Atin turned the ship in a random direction and jumped to lightspeed, hopefully leaving the covenant ship behind.
