I loved Sailor moon and Pokemon since about 1st grade but I really understood that it was ANIME in about 5th grade.
That was when the obsession began.
I started watching Inuyasha and I started reading manga.
The first manga I bought was called Mink and it was just one of the first one I saw and I thought it was cute it's good.
Discuss:
When you started liking anime.

I started likin anime after cardcaptor sakura...don't really remember much but I know I liked it haha sweatdrop
My first manga was Tarot Cafe...its kick a**! whee but they haven't made the 4th one...or they don't sell it at my book store yet stare

my first anime i liked was Pokemon of course who didnt love that show
when they were kids
i still watch it every now and then but it has gottenj a lil homosexual
i statred gettin into anime for real pretty recently

you have put this curse for me to bear
the only way i will watch other anime
is if i finish all the eps that have played so far
with the exception of PoT
i dunno why i like that one
but yea i dont know a lot of animes yet but the ones i do watch i am well into
just ask Kat
my first manga was a pokemon one (if you can consider that one)
it was only like 15 pages long
but my first somewhat long one was fruits basket
it aint half bad

I guess Pokemon would be my first anime, too. Occasionally I saw Sailor Moon or Card Captors, but I never really watched them. Besides when I was little and drew Pokemon, I think I first started drawing anime sometime in middle school. Oh yeah, I was into Yu-Gi-Oh for a while and also Teen Titans (Those ARE both anime, right???)

I started liking anime when I first saw Sailor moon... from then on i got a bunch of the tapes and mangas and I am still a fan.

well, my first anime, of course, was pokemon. i watched it when i was five (but i got sick of it when i was cool
when i was 8, i was introduced to the best anime ever: dragonball!!! blaugh
my first manga (i think) was naruto.
