Hoora for the first thread I've made in a uber long time.
A friend of mine's into vikings at the moment, he's seriously been lookin' up stuff about Norse warriors. The greatest thing about them is that the people who worshiped Loki over the other gods believed that the day they stopped laughing was the day they should die. So, they played jokes on eachother that we'd find cruel now.
I.E. They would tie a rope to a man's p***s, tie the rope to the bed he's sleeping in, and scream 'fire'.(Except it would be in a deep angry-sounding language.) He would proceed to get up, run, and about the time he got to the door the rope would snap tight. All the other large muscular men in the room would all at once below a deep,"Ah Ha Ha!"
Not really any conversation expected. Just felt like sharing the idea of a large ice block rendering a large man unconcious and other large men laughing robotically at him.
