Amarican focklore has a noticble lack of monsters. off the top of my head I can think off only five. big foot, mothman, hoopsnecks,the hidebehind and last but ost defently not lest, the jackalope
Jackalope lore: the ansators of our furry myth was a normal jackrabbit and a specal type of deer (now extict) who after mating gave together one of them gave birth to the first two jackalope are born and from them spoted the race.
Jackalope are said to be able to sing in a human voice and have been credit to be able to mimic any sound they hear. others say they can talk and are highly intelegent. but aall souces agree that the jackalop can at least sound human.
Jackalopes in magic: jackalopes combine the stragths of bout deer and rabbit. ask the jackalope for help with speed. also they may help face a problem and charge it.
