I know a bass player metalhead... I know a drummer (not metalhead)... I know 2 more guitarists (metalheads)... and I can kinda sing... I hear a powermetal band! Maybe this year, as soon as I can solo.

I'm in two. Drummer in one, vocalist in the other. We haven't practiced much yet, but I'll give you a link if we ever get a MySpace or anything. biggrin

I've always been extremely reluctant to join/start a band due to the new-found "OMG the singer has a v****a they must be good LOL!" syndrome in some parts of the metal/rock world. Considering that my voice is my main instrument, it kind of gets on my nerves. xp

Interesting, yet disturbing, way to phrase it. Back in the 80's it was a good thing to have a chick singer, because of the high pitched voice and the great way it sounds in metal. I say go for it.

Lyn, that sucks about your computer. And about my song, it is not evil whatsoever, it is a statement about the carelessness in the lives of our brainwashed teens, and how the media controls, and how school teaches theories, not facts. It has a Christian message, you call that evil? I'm just doing Death Metal because I was pissed when I decided to write it. I'm about half-way done with the lyrics, then comes the music... gonk
