There's a lot of roleplay topics to look at, it seems. I'd like to get my character involved as soon as possible, so does anyone have any suggestions about where might be a good place to start?

you may want to find an excuse to get out to area 42, as a bunch of us will be meeting there (See League Communicator topic).
Otherwise I recommend anywhere outside (Pick Pocket Park was a classic for this kind of thing way back) where someone will invariably "run into you."

I maintain that if you want to just pick some public location, I will send one of my characters out. Unfortunatey, my only currently unoccupied character is probably going to be a tad antisocial, and at the very least a bit nasty. Could make for some interesting times though, just say when and where.

She probably won't care, as far as she knows, Zack is good and Pasty is just being a jerk to him.
She only sees what she wants to see.

Well, knowing Austin, he'll probably be like, "Hey Pasty means no harm!" or something else signafying that he isn't entirly sure what is going on. Then DTG might think he is a jerk as well and be forever tormented by her love for Zack, only to learn his true colors later on. Then of course she'll still think he's innocent and...
okay I'm stopping there.

yeah, no deciding what my characters is going to do. I can barely figure out the next step of the date she and Zack are on right now. Which would be over by now, if, you know, Atrox was not so terribly distracted by Dofus....

I have either a very good idea or a very bad idea depending on Nevi and Atrox's plans. You can have your character eating in the Parkside Bistro and slip and fall in the middle of DTG's and Bronzed's date right onto their food or something equally comical and hero-like.
