There are many kinds of magics out there - and many of them do not center around the elements, however most people do specialize in one of the elements (shortened to six for simplicity), so if you had to pick - what's your speciality?

i havent learned enough yet to say for sure, but im pretty confident water will be my specialty, and if not probably earth (for reasons very few people would get, but get it, alex) so yeah...
i always have a hard time choosing my favorite element, too, cuz its so hard to choose between water, air, and earth. at least for me it is XP

Anime-himeRin i havent learned enough yet to say for sure, but im pretty confident water will be my specialty, and if not probably earth (for reasons very few people would get, but get it, alex) so yeah... i always have a hard time choosing my favorite element, too, cuz its so hard to choose between water, air, and earth. at least for me it is XP ~Rin
I have difficulty choosing between darkness and fire - because darkness isn't 'really' an element, but fire can also have connotations of lust (which I strongly lack) - however, as you know, I choose fire because of my true self - but as you know me in this world, darkness describes me quite well too...

Yeah, I chose darkness because fire has that whole lust thing, and can also mean energy, which I lack as well. If it was just Water, Earth, Fire, and Air, I would have chosen fire because of anger and rage, but darkness would best fit my battle techniques (if we could control elements), which are stealthy, zero visibility, and as no one can seem to hear me coming, that would work quite well.

certain elements tend to attribute to different personality types and all i know for sure about my personality is that im anything but fire. i really dont knwo anything else about my personality, its so weird.... i dont know myself at all, and none of my friends really do either as they only know the me they see but i dont know what th real me is like. damn. looks like my horrible mood from yesterday is making me go through an identity crisis! this happens a lot, itll pass... eventually.... maybe ill figure out the answer thsi time and THEN i can attribute my REAL personality to an element! =D

test 1Test 2they don't include all the elements - but they are pretty good for the Chinese 5... and Metal and Air have a few similar properties, so you can interpret them as you see fit WOOD ARCHETYPE: The Pioneer.............................. 18

While I have a tendency to score higher in fire, I must admit that some of what they describe fire as (more on a flirtatious/sexual level) doesn't really fit me too well, as I am not fond of sexual activity. However, the one below does fit me quite nicely, in my opinion. I definetly have a very low Earth level... but Wood/Fire/Water are all acceptable, and I am indifferent to metal... just not too much Earth.

aha.... and this makes sense, too, cuz im still just a newbie ^_^ ok i get it now... sensei says i have lots of potential, but i dont see myself getting all that strong.... but im still gonna try to live up to his expectations =D naturally the first kind of magic i want to learn is water, but when the time comes for me to learn different element based magics, i guess he'll decide what i get to do first.... and i dont mind, i mean really.... he's my teacher, its up to him anyway.

i dont really use elements much but when i need to draw on elemental power i draw on all the elements it just seems more effective than to draw on just 1

that makes sense =D but i think what is meant by your element of choice is which one you like working with best or are able to work with better XP but hell if i know, thats why youre my teacher and im the student/apprentice person 3nodding
