The WHAM is Delmor’s most prestigious tourist attraction. Over the years, it has featured countless irreplaceable cultural artifacts from around the world. Over the years, countless irreplaceable cultural artifacts from around the world have been stolen from it. It’s known for it’s extensive collections of New England whaling doodads and anthropomorphic hurricane debris, which nobody ever wants to steal.

It is currently hosting a (mostly complete) exhibit of fine Cantonese relics.

Mother Superior shouldered the two packs, the Contingency Pack for Rain (CPR) weighing a bit lighter on her left shoulder than the complex pulley system that the other housed. She followed stone stealthily towards the grand facade of the Museum, but veered off to an abandoned building on the left as the got closer. They would have to go from this rooftop to the museum, the pressure sensors on the museum's perimeter fence were unsurmountable. Opening her right pack, she removed one of the coils of 850-pound-test paracord, black in color. She threaded four ratcheting clips onto the 1/8th-inch-thick, braided nylon. Each clip had a loop attached to it. She knotted that end in an eight, and attached a heavy, folding, four-hooked grapple to the other end. One of the hooks was longer than the other four, and as it sailed through the air, it looked very much like a cross. It caught snugly. Stone and Mother Superior tied the four bags to the end on the ground, grabbed hold two clips each, set themselves perpendicular to the abandoned building in question, and walked up the side.
Once at the top, they pulled up the cord, with the four bags attached. Mother Superior removed a crossbow from the bag of rope and rope-related items, and threaded a tethered bolt onto the weapon. She took careful aim, and shot it into the protruding top of the elevator shaft, just right of the massive skylight that was their ultimate target. The bolt caught, Stone sent each of the bags over, sliding them down the slight decline by their handles, which he threaded the paracord through. Then Mother Superior tied the rope to a post on the rooftop, and the two zip-lined across to the Museum Roof.
Below their fast-moving bodies, a Guard looked up to curse the rain, just as they disappeared over the ledge. The black rope was invisible on this cloudy and rainy night. He finished his cursing of the weather gods and returned to his rounds, never suspecting that anything was wrong.

Stone signaled for them to duck behind the elevator shaft. He spotted a camera turning toward them. He opened up one of his bags and pulled out a transmitter and switched it on. He hooked it underneath the hood of an exhaust pipe and turned it on. He signaled for the tent bag.

With the camera safely receiving repeating reels of rainy rooftop, Mother Superior set to work, she took the tent out of the CPR, and begin to erect it over the Skylight. Because of the pressure-sensors in the floor below it was most important that the area above the skylight, as well as the two intruders were entirely dry.

Stone towelled off. He opened a bag and pulled out a black outfit. He put that on. Then, he climbed into a harness and made sure that it was snug. After that, he pulled out the glass cutter kit. Stone locked the suction cup handle to the glass skylight. He then cut the glass with his diamond tipped glass cutter and removed it.

As Stone cut through the glass skylight, Mother Superior changed into her own outfit: a black spandex full-body suit complete with balaclava. She had a belt with several tools snugly attached, a bottle of perfume spray, a bottle of chloroform, along with an applying rag, a pouch of diamond, laser-refracting lenses, a smoke grenade, varying pairs of pliers and the like surrounded her slim waistline. She set up the pulley system as Stone finished taking the pane out of the skylight. She removed the tied a length of chord to it so that it would not hit the pressure-sensitive circle directly below the skylight, pulled the pin and dropped it. It hung high, and, as the smoke flowed out of the small ball, the laser grid was illuminated bright as day. It was time to lower in. Mother Superior clipped her harness onto the pulley rope, and awaited lowering.

Stone grabbed the rope and began to belay Mother Superior. He lowered her into the dark orifice. When she had reached the bottom, he turned the CCTV jammer on.

Mother Superior tugged twice to stop Stone from lowering her any further. Then she began to swing. Towards the wall there was a soft spot where the lasers didn't bother, she aimed for that, unclipped the harness, and dropped silently to all fours. Then she had to weave in and out of the crossing beams in order to place a diamond, refracting lens over each of the lasers. So she slid, wiggled, bent, and contortioned her way about the chamber. As she barely squeezed past the insubstantial lines, she thanked God almighty for those yoga lessons of her youth, and for reruns of Entrapment every Saturday night on FX.

The Great Gallery was always such a chore, and now that the only notable item in it was an urn of ash, it was not only busywork, but weird busywork. What a chore. Another reason he didn't particularly enjoy it is because he could never remember the code to turn off the pressure-sensors in the floor, he had a hard enough time remembering the one for the laser grid override. So he had to skirt the circle of pressure sensors under the large skylight, which made the entire thing even more difficult.
He punched in the code to turn off the lasers in the panel next to the door (there was a matching panel next to the door on the opposite side of the hall, where he would enter the code to turn them back on), and walked in the room.

She had done a fine job, it might have taken her 15 minutes and all her attention, but it was finally done. So when they all shut off for no apparent reason, she was actually more upset than surprised, but instinct took over quickly, and she ducked behind the door where the shadow of a night guard was clearly silhouetted by a flash of lightning.

The last thing he felt was dizzy, the thing before that was panic, before that was a rag over his mouth, before that was a slight curiosity as to why the skylight was covered with a tent, missing a pane, and had a rope dangling from it. The thing he felt before all that, though, was a draft.

Mother Superior knelt down and felt the man's pulse, she felt harder. It wasn't there. "Huh," she said as Stone slide effortlessly down the rope, "I might have overdone it." She checked the rag. "Ah, that's why. This isn't chloroform, it's my perfume: Eau de Arsenic."

Stone didn't say anything about the dead guy. He wanted to, but this mission required total silence. It's not that Stone had issues with murder. It's just that this particular crime was very important to him and any deviations from the plan made him uneasy. He didn't dwell on in for too long because had Stone been the one to kill the guard, he would have done it very loudly.

He redirected his attention to his duffel bag. In it, he found an anchor, which he fastened to the wall and threaded with the rope. He then ran the rope through his harness and approached the pressure sensitive floor. H e picked up his glasscutter again. Mother Superior held the rope as he leaned over the floor with his feet safely planted on the tile. With two free hands, Stone began to cut the glass case surrounding the urn of Wong Fei Hung.

Mother Superior was sweating under the strain of holding the rope up with stone attached. The weight was, of course, halved by the anchor in the opposite wall, but for someone of her statue that didn't help much. Still it wasn't a problem that she sweat, as long as she kept him up. The only risk was if he started to sweat, even one bead dropped from his face would set off the sensor in the floor and alert all of Delmor to their presence there.

It was getting warm. The glass cutting was taking a little longer than he wanted to. Stone's brow began to moisten. As he cut degree after degree of glass, the sweat on his forehead beaded.

Mother Superior saw the sweat begin to bead on Stone's forehead and cursed herself for walking into the "It can't get any worse" cliche. You know, the one that always precludes a rain storm right on the main character's unprotected head. She had to think fast. Her yardsticks would be long enough to catch the sweat, but they were against the wall in the pile of tools Stone brought back. She slowly backed up to them, making sure to keep the rope as taught as possible as she did.

Stone felt himself being pulled away from the glass case. He stretched to remain in contact of his tools. That's when he noticed a bead of sweat hanging from the tip of his nose. He stuck his tongue out, hoping that if it fell, he could catch it, as foul as it may taste.

Mother Superior saw the bead of sweat on Stone's nose and knew this was it. There was no way she could make it back to him before it fell, not without letting the rope go. She said one single word, "Sweat!" Let go of the rope and sprinted back to him with the yardstick outstretch, knowing as soon as she caught the sweat she'd have to grab the rope again to keep him from falling.
