I don't know if this is in the right place to put this, but which song that MUSE sings can you relate to the most? 2 songs I can relate to the most is 'City of Delusion' and 'Map of the Problematique'.
The reason why I relate to 'City of Delusion' because I feel like the small town I'm living in is a city of delusion and just the people are so hypocritical I sometimes wish that it was destroyed. And 'Map of the Problematique' just the lyrics I can relate to personally I can't explain it redface or rather not explain it.

Sadly, my life fits into most Muse songs. It's like Matt's fishing around in my head, taking out how I feel and musically expressing it.
Which is a bad thing of course, because if you look at Matt's lyrics...they're not exactly 'positively reinforced' now are they? gonk
A lot of the time I can associate the desperation felt by Matt's characters in my context, because it sometimes ties with how I feel for Matt; or just life in general. That overwhelming feeling that makes you want to annihilate the Earth because of the arrogance of most human beings. I'm not being evil...I'm just a cynical person. I can't help it. I've always been this way. In my opinion, being "cynical" is just an excuse. I state the truth. It's closed minded people that claim I'm discriminating just for saying that we will be our own destruction because of the evil we persue. I mean Jesus, it's true!
Anyhow yeah...Politically, mentally; and personally; I can relate to the words Matt sings. (Other than Feeling Good...although he didnt write that, and I suppose I could say that's how I feel when I see Matt. Although not so much with my depression lately XD)

I would say Muse's version of Feeling Good. It sounds more like that the person singing is showing off their feelingness of goodness. Like what I tend to do. Like this girl's got boy problems and I laugh cos I couldn't care less about things. There's more but I can't name any at the moment.

I will say it until the end,Hysteria is the song I can relate to more.Always.It's a very personal thing.Even if I want to explain it's hard...It's like that song owns my soul,or something like that. Muscle Museum reflects the feelings of me and another person right now,I don't want to explain. Map Of The Problematique, I relate it with the memories of the concert, what I feel for those memories right now. Eternally Missed for the same person of Muscle Museum. Bliss...Bliss makes me feel good, but anyway I relate it with the envy I feel for the other persons...But it makes me feel good. Sunburn is my description. My exact description.
(some of them)
...I've never thought before Muse that a person can relate itself with lyrics.Well,Muse changed my mind completely.I love them.I love them too much.

Hysteria. I feel like my walls are crumbling! Lol, so emo. But seriously, I have moments where I listen to Hysteria and am like "omg, that's me".
I'd like to see someone say Supermassive Black Hole xd .

Good question. xD Map of the Problematique is a good one for me. The whole "I can't get it right since I met you" thing sums up my relationship with this one person pretty well. Supermassive Black Hole (seriously) pretty much sums up my feelings for the government of the UK. Lying, covering things up, generally sucking the country into a social, economic and political black hole. A supermassive one, at that. The Groove is how school always made me feel. However, there are two songs that sum me up almost perfectly. Unintended. The sentiment of it, how things don't turn out how you want them to, and you're always a step behind what could be good for you, even if it's not what you wanted in the first place. This expresses the more sentimental side of me perfectly. Hyper Music. The raw anger, the complete retraction of feelings just to spite someone, is something I've been guilty of before. In fact, I've said those exact words to someone long before I'd ever heard the song (I don't love you, and I never did). It's a pretty good song for what's going on in my life right now, as well ("You wanted more than I was worth" / "Who really cares anymore? Who remains?"), with what I suspect will be a largely unavoidable and particularly nasty breakup looming on the horizon. I do believe that's the longest post I've ever written. Probably the most personal as well. PS. Jetpack to Jupiter You just can't see a tiny star when the sun is shining. I love this.

I'm so selfish, I've been thinking about myself more (well, it's year 12...) and I've come up with a better response than before.
Hysteria is still up there. Because I am a very hysterical person. (I get worked up easily...and yeah, it sounds like me.) For similar reasons, I also must count Map Of The Problematique, which is like a continuation of the same themes. "I want it now, I want it now"/"I want to be free from desolation and despair". And also, I'm a very lonely and abandoned person. I just want to be...not so alienated and alone. Because I simply adore it, Citizen Erased. Not so much the actual meaning of the words, but the melody itself. And the movement of the melody - how it constantly changes. It's like moodswings...but nicer. And I'm very prone to moodswings. XD. Ashamed, because I'm constantly ashamed and emotional. So emotional that it nearly kills me.
And yeah. C'est moi. For real.
Frozen, I'm sorry to hear about your "largely unavoidable and particuarly nasty breakup looming on the horizon." I hope you can sort things out. =] *hugs*
