Most will probably fade into obscurity, but so did the trampoline and the chair.
So as far as you future readers know, it was funny at the time.

Basically, I was saying pizza is always good. I don't like pinapple pizza, but it doesn't count because it isn't real pizza, cuz it's got a fruit on it. And is therefor a pie.

And tomato is on all pizza, so i wanted to clarify that tomato being a fruit is a misconception.

The tomato fruit signatures came to mind as I was watching the news the other day.

Apparently, in the state of Oklahoma, the watermelon is a vegetable.
Since the strawberry is the state fruit, its apparently taboo to have more than one state fruit... but its okay to look stupid and make a fruit your state vegetable.

Durrr.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma already has the strawberry as its official fruit, so the state Senate cleared the way Tuesday to declare the watermelon the state vegetable.

The measure was introduced in the House by Democratic Rep. Joe Dorman of Rush Springs, site of an annual watermelon festival in August.

Sen. Don Barrington, R-Lawton, sponsored the bill in the Senate.

"The controversy on whether watermelon is a fruit or vegetable has been officially decided by the Oklahoma Legislature," Barrington said. He said watermelon comes from the cucumber and gourd families, which are classified as vegetables.

Others are not convinced. Sen. Nancy Riley, D-Tulsa, said her dictionary refers to the watermelon as a fruit.

"I guess it can be both," Barrington conceded.

The bill now goes to Gov. Brad Henry.

He was a pioneer researcher into the nature of consciousness using as his principal tools the isolation tank, dolphin communication and psychedelic drugs, sometimes in combination. He was a prominent member of the Californian counterculture of scientists, mystics and thinkers that arose in the late 1960s and early 70s
