Let's start the petiton and send it out now. It might be better if we get it through now because it's getting worse. "Smack this girl, X giveaway, gimmie gold" Some headlines.

Sure, can the admins even do anything about it? How can they stop people from making threads? Petition or not, it would be insanily hard to restrict what people make threads about and where.

censoring what users post is not really much of an option. Instead we, who have been here for great lengths must set the par, be some sort of example for those causing the rot of gaia. The ignorance that has invaded is responsible, and if all else fails we band together in large groups throughout the main site and make those that don't live up to the par of things feel alienated and either leave or get the motivation to form more intelligent and creative posts. If not well, guess what...the noobs are pretty well doing that to the oldbies, maybe not intentionally, but they sure as hell are making us leave. Seriously how many Gaia veterans leave never to be heard of again?

Faaaaar too many to count.
They either leave, or hide out in literate guilds.

Not really.. >.> You don't see many of them back in the chatterbox, so they're obviously still hiding out in those guilds.
