Obviously I know he can talk but the point i'm making is:
Have you ever seen Chris actuallt talking in interviews?
I mean occasionally he may say the odd word but it's always Matt and Dom doing the talking don't you think? I mean I can't tell you how many times i've seen Matt and Dom in interviews with no Chris, and even when he is there he says nothing anyways, it's as if he wants to say something but the other guys get in before he can, and the people doing the interview with him almost never point the mike for him to talk to them anyways!
Yesterday at the Brits for instance, he's there laughing away with them, really looks like he wants to talk and yet whenever Fern asked a question she would put the microphone to Matt or Dom, totally bipassing (sp?) Chris who was stood in between them.
Even when they're on stage it only seems to be Matt and Dom talking, is this because Chris is super shy or the others don't let him get a word in?
As much as I love Matt and Dom, I would love to hear what Chris has to say too, he's as much in the band as the other two so...
Anybody have any ideas why this is? :]

I've heard him talk in two interviews: one mtv one around 2001 and one when he was by himself in 2006. XD
I think he's just shy and doesn't feel like talking much, but who knows? XD

Hmm, I guess so, but it would be nice if he talked now and then.
But I respect his choice not to if that's what he wants, he probably doesn't mind keeping himself hidden, look at what the press do to those in the limelight eh?
He's got a family to care for I guess so...
It must be a far better life for Muse, they've got the fame they love and deserve but you'll probably find that they could still walk down the street without being recognised, only fans will know who they are!

I don't think it's Matt and Dom.
After all, Matt's incredibly shy too. Not sure about Dom though rofl
I think it's just that Chris is in fact, a shy person. After all; Matt's forced to talk because he's the lead...and Dom is talkative anyway...So yeah. I think that's what it is. 3nodding after all; Chris does do interviews in magazines quite often.

Yeah, I guess that's what it is :]
But when you read thier interviews he doesn't do much talking then either!
He's probably just shy when it comes to interviews, just totally not shy when he comes to playing bass live because he's brill at it :]

I've seen him talk in one interview, but he does seem like a quiet guy in general.

When I saw Muse at Eden last year, Chris was the only person in the band to talk during the show... Well, at the end, he said "You guys in the middle there, you're nuts!" Referrring to we peoples who'd spent the last 1 1/2 hours beating each other up for Muse's benefit. Good times... cry

I think he's just shy, but he doesn't show up for a lot of interviews 'cause he stays with his family when ever he can.

i havent heard him talk. i dont blame him tho. being silent isnt a bad thing, it gives you chance to soak in whats goin on around you
