"Well, back in the WWE i always felt Jeff Hardy had a lot of potential and could really do things if he set his mind to it. And he's proven me right. However, the Showstopper is hungry to have some more gold around his waist. I always have been and always will be. Not to say i need it to steal the whole damn show, because i do that every time i step into that ring. But it's always nice to add to the prestige of a title. I've said it before and I'll say it again, i'm here to give the fans exactly what they want. And I think it's fair to say that at this point, they want to see good ol' HBK with the Platinum title. So no offense to Jeff Hardy, but i will walk out of the next PPV as the new Platinum champion. And if you're not down with that, then i got just two words for ya. Suck it."
